Wouldn't even need to buy any other games for about six months with this bundle

great package, heat
I'm looking to buy a PS4 for my partner, but I'm so out of touch with what's what in gaming...
I like this deal and very tempted to go for it... but saw this:
PS4 1TB Star Wars Battlefront Bundle with Unchartered Nathan Drake Collection = £329.99
argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Is it better to for for the 1TB version? He's not a massive gamer, so will he need that much storage? Does space get taken up easily?
Sorry for the stupid questions

I'm not sure like you and would like to know. In a way, how much more would you pay for a 1TB console?

Nathan Drake collection is old games, they'll be bundles with newer games he'll appreciate more.1Tb is the way to go. You'll fit just over 20 games as on average they take up 40-50gb worth of room.If you go for normal 500gb console, you'll have to invest in an external hard drive eventually :(You're probably a busy lady, so I'll msg you when I see someone post a must have deal.

Thank you so much for the advice!
Any heads up would be massively appreciated. I've been checking this site everyday for deals and I'm afraid I'll end up panic buying and regretting my choice.

you don't have to get the larger capacity version, I'm a fairly active player, getting a couple of new games a month.

Unless you are adamant on keeping all of your downloaded data for every game you shouldn't run out any time soon.

I've had 20 to 30 games for my ps4 since buying , a mix of disc and downloaded and I've still got 200gb space left by simply removing the game data once I finish a game. You can still keep the save files like I have and re-download anything you've previously bought at any point with no further charges.

It's a luxury, not a necessity.

Hmm. I guess thats a benefit if you buy downloaded games. However not so good if you buy hard disk games like me.

I didnt realise you could keep the save files of your game progress. Cool

This is for sale in Ireland at 359 Euro so £260 if any people from Northern Ireland fancy a trip down south

Your partner would appreciate this bundle tbh, as it has 2 of the latest games.

Others have said 500gb has been enough space for them.

How many games did he have on his ps3 or xbox360?
Did he download games or buy the disks?
Would he usually sell his old games for new games?

Answer those and it'll be clearer what deal would benefit him more

He hasn't had a console since he was a teen, so as a man in his thirties I reckon this will blow his mind a little.
Basically, I'd treat him as a newcomer to gaming

I'm mainly a physical games buyer. So I can delete the game data (presume that takes most space) and keep the save files. What about any multiplayer data, would that get deleted with the game data. I'm been holding off getting one for a while because of my not so good understanding of the storage space and whether I do actually need to get a 1TB :s
Is this confirmed to be the C Chassis please? Thanks.
I was waiting for the right bundle. And here it is! Nice find!
Just gonna collect mine after lunch!!! yeahh!

Don't forget, for those that don't even want battlefront. Can hand in to Cex for £32 and the bundled star wars classic dlc can be sold on eBay from £15 - 30 depending on how lucky you are.

You are right! Sorry. Amending info now
Hard copy games use less space than downloaded ones because the data that's on the disc is there already and there's no need to download the full game. You'll usually have to download updates and additional files as the console prompts you to or does it automatically depending on your settings.

However these are usually far less data than a game you'd download in full.

Don't be afraid of getting a 500gb version, it's still a lot of room and the hard drive can be upgraded if necessary but shouldn't be needed in most cases.

Any further questions I can help with, feel free to pm.

Heat for the deal BTW, still looking for a second ps4 to have at the Mrs' place (don't tell her though!)

Yeah. It says on the TCB website that its 7.35% for games and consoles but didn't track that for me. I'm trying to raise a claim at the moment but the website seems to be having problems.
Seems like an excellent price for this bundle but......decisions, decisions..... do I get this now or take a chance that a better deal may (or may not!) come before Christmas.

Oh what the hell - going to order now!

Great find by the way and thanks for posting.

If £4.75 is correct still better than nothing, but I agree should be more.
Even 7% from £150 is £10.50...

Just Star Wars. The 1TB units are still selling for £329 so £270 for both was a steal.
