The trial will allow players to sample the game, with no alterations to gameplay except a one-hour playtime restriction. After this time, players will be given the option to purchase the full game, moving their progress and saved content to the full title.

If you enjoyed the first game I can't see how you wouldn't enjoy this. It's a great game.

A sign it's not selling well?
I actually think only playing the first hour of this would do more harm than good!
I forced myself to play 3-4 hours before I'd seen enough and sold my copy

I found this game unenjoyable. I think it was made to make money while stick of truth was fun

24 GB for 1 hour playing !? Without me

Not greatly enjoying either to be honest and loved stick of truth.

How come nobody is enjoying it? I bought this on pre order but have been playing this because I missed out on the stick of truth first time round. I'm really enjoying that so far.

Are achievements/trophies available on this trial?

I saw a small clip of combat. Was the grid system in the original? I can't remember.

Will try the trial some point. Lost interest in south park a while back.

No, this is the first game again but with a grid system.

Not sure if the other answer made sense, but no, there wasn't a grid system in the Stick of Truth.
You couldn't move in combat.

I haven't watched South Park in years but I'm currently enjoying the Stick of Truth (I never played it before, and it was free with the Fractured But Whole on some sites).

This is a brilliant game, can't see what people's problems are. Much more fun than the same old games that are shoveled out every year.

I enjoyed the stick of truth. I just remember small bits of the game (the school, sewers etc). But game play was rather vague. Remember it just being basic turn based.

With the fractured but whole game. The grid system looks under whelming. But I've not tried the game myself.

It's the 3rd best selling game in the charts at the moment apparently:

I've thoroughly enjoyed the first 10 hours. Not finding combat particularly challenging so I may increase the difficulty to maximum for the remainder.

Amazing game, the amount of detail gone into the dialogue for each individual character is something you have to appreciate at least, decent length too for a single player linear game it is around 20 hours.

Really something you have to be a fan of the source material to play otherwise you are not going to enjoy the constant barrage of jokes.

The battle system is also a big improvement from stick of truth, I much prefer it and to be honest it is such a breath of fresh air to have a single player game that isn't an open world sandbox for once.

Loving it so far, 12 hours in. Will have to replay the stick of truth to see if better than I remember, as only thought that was average.

I've give it a go, not watched South Park in a really long time, (first season, three episodes and the movie). Only South Park I ever play was the first one on N64 *showing his age*

If you were to use the demo for an hour but buy the game at a later date will the save data continue then?

Brilliant game

Never played stick of truth, but will have a play of this. Was thinking of getting this in sainsburys double event.

I'm 12 hours into it and I think it's great.

Stick of Truth was a proper South Park game unfortunately this game not in service calibre, it's commercial rubbish

Great game better than stick of truth imo

I got it a day after release and still playing.

18 hours in and enjoying every minute! almost got the shiny platinum

Such a great game.

This game has made me laugh more than any other, hugely enjoyable, recommended if you have a sense of humour

I;ve just been on their website & it says the save data can be used for the full game (assuming it's the same platform).

I don't have the game, but I watched all the cutscenes as a giant movie on youtube and....I loved it! Quite funny, but inmy opinion not as funny as the first.

*mini spoiler~ish*

I absolutely cracked up with craig and tweek's ultimate

Is it the fractured bumhole?

great game!

Best deal or place to buy?

Thx for this, heat added

Love this game, but then i loved Stick of Truth and I still really enjoy South Park even though i'm over 40 now.

Cant see how you wont like this if you like South Park or the previous game.

Are there any censorship issues with the UK version? Managed to play the US version of the previous game, in order to get the full game without the BBFC deciding what I am / am not grown up enough to see.

Heat added! Great game so far!!

Loved the first game but I've heard from so many the story of this is nowhere near as good (or funny).

I'll give it a go but part of me is just considering watching all the cutscenes on YouTube.

It’s nothing like the first game. They clearly really struggled with this one which explains the delay. It’s so dull. Compared to the first the humour has completely gone, it’s just really lacking in every department. I don’t like the new fight mechanic either. Anyone who says it’s even close to the Stick of Truth is a liar. It’s that far off it, it’s not even in the same league.

both my kids loved the first game and spent ages replaying it but after spending a short while with this new game they no longer want it for Xmas as it's "too boring" and "repetitive" and no where near as much fun as the first game in their opinion. The game had a troubled development with delay after delay and it really shows in the final product they say. It's not funny and South Park games need to be funny I guess!
