An absolute cracker of a game which i have been unable to put down. Superb story and never a dull moment in this living (or not) breathing zombie filled world, I have completed the story mode and have wiped out all the hoards but i still find myself going back and continue to find new things to do!

Worth every penny.

My advise, always have an exit strategy, keep your tank topped up, upgrading bike/weapons asap is key, keep melee weapon in good order, collect everything, don't forget ALL the loud speakers, be careful taking on more than 4 zombies at once (early on) listen to the environment it will tell you a lot and finally do not f#@k with bears (zombie or other wise)

There is so much more but hey I will let you figure it out.

If you have plus....

It does state that in the first line, but I will add it to the title. Shopto have a £25 top up for £22.85, if that's helpful

Think I have to buy it now, I got £50 for £25 from Very so makes the game free
Great game first game I've ever platinumed
Still playing this, albeit casually (dipping in and out, too many games).
But it blew my mind when I was going around the map and between the first two camps and then googled the size of the overall map, and it turns out Im only in the first area!! That the whole thing is like 4+ times the size of what I was in.
It's very well done. I'm also very aware in this current climate how many post apocalyptic games I have. The Division is unnerving now
Tempting OP. Will a 14 day trial let you buy at the reduced rate or is it excluded?
Looks good always wanted to play this game never been sure

Take some heat

Yep I thought the first area was just the map, until someone told me there was a second area at the time. Not as big as the first, but both together gives you a lot to play with!
Got a bit of a kicking on release due to the bugs but they resolved all that and added New Game+, challenge mode and other bits and bobs late last year. Bit slow to start with but I really got into it and had a great two months gaming out of it. If you liked Mad Max then you will definitely like this too. Fairly easy platinum if you're prepared to put the hours in, you can even do it without beating a single horde though it's more fun if you do

If I sign up for the 14 day free Singapore ps plus trial, will it be possible to purchase this on offer from the UK store.
Is it as brutally difficult as people make out?

I'd say no though I did complete on easy lol. Like most games, the combat gets easier once you level up your character and weapons. You don't actually need to beat a single horde to finish the game, it gives you the option to skip sequences. It's a big buzz if you do beat a big one though. The weapon selection wheel (bit like that in Ratchet and Clank!) is a bit cumbersome but not a game-breaker

Taking on a horde at first seems massively impossible lol my tactic was to just drive away from them as quick as you can, but eventually you get to a point where you have to take them out. Make sure, when you are allocating your skill points that you upgrade your storage capacity. The first horde mission I took on, I only had space for 3 Molotov's and other explosives and it was pretty hard to get past. Once I upgraded to space for 6 it was a whole lot easier!

How can you do that? Isn't the one mission to take out the horde? I thought it was an amazing game and loved every minute of it, most difficult part of the platinum I thought was the drifting one, bit I found a work around for it in the end haha

There are 3 or 4 hordes to take out in the main story line but you can literally press the start button and skip them from the menu in game if you get stuck. Once you've completed the story you can reset the marauder camps/infestation nests etc (providing you've cleared them all) to farm more XP if needed for the skill point trophy. Took me a while to get that pesky drifting trophy too

Think the offer ends at midnight. Grabbed it.
