Agree, bungie really messed up with this, it should of been dlc for d1
I’ve never really been into destiny but understood it was a very popular game, what exactly happened to the sequel that you can buy it so cheap so soon??

Even if you just play the story i'd say that's worth the £12.99.

WOW!

I thought this demo will be under £10 by now. It held its price well.

The antagonist ghoul I think his name was , is such a massive disappointment to myself. I’m glad I didn’t buy curse of Osiris as I hear that’s not much better either sort it out bungie

His name is Gary

I'd like to think it had something to do with D1 customers being wary this time, having dropped the soap in Activision's shower a few times already but I think it's genuinely an inferior game to the original with even worse money-grabbing tactics

After i sold my copy i bought destiny again for the ps4 (used to have it on the ps3) because i missed playing it. D2 was ok but a bit soulless. Meaning to get back into it but my Battlefield 1 addiction is hard to kick.
Did I really pay £45 for this on release day? literally haven’t touched it in months.
Despite its failings I really enjoyed it, got a good 40 hours or so out of the campaign, adventures etc. Lucky for me I never played the first one and have that to go through next

The sequel is a loot game with no good loot. All the best cosmetics and some game mods are behind loot box esque micro-transactions. Studio pushed out some really dodgy patches so it took twice as long to earn loot boxes without paying. With first way overpriced and very underwhelming DLC, they locked out some content from base game to coerce people into buying DLC. Studio has never publicly apologised. Did some half baked fixes. Playerbase has dwindled so not much going on. Dev trying to fix things but it’ll take a long time and players just doesn’t care anymore.

Thing is, at its core there is a great game. Its just that they rolled that core through the shite so much that it makes a very brown snowball. Way too mired in all the worst bull the industry has these days. I really enjoyed figuring out the raid but once you get that down its literally all there is. As soon as I found out there wasn't going to be another full raid in curse of osiris that was the last straw. I've only ever traded in 2 games, this is one of them.

Thanks for that. I’d seen something in the news about Bungie loosing player trust, but it didn’t really go into why. I’d only seen the initial reviews which seemed positive and it go a lot of press early so it just caught me by surprise when it dropped bellow £20 so soon
