Had the original copy of this for ages, never played it

But this is the cheapest around
The price is not good. It's very good. Heat added.
Does this edition give you access to all the DLC?

Should I wait for a possible edition whereby I can have access to all the DLC or is that just wishful thinking. Also what’s the current level cap? Thanks for your previous response

i am certain they will release some kind of ultimate gold ultra royal edition when all dlc is out. that did be end of 2019 at the earliest though. but if you waited so long already, may as well wait for it since you dont seem to be in a rush to play this
The new DLC that is due to be released, is this apart of the current season pass or would they introduce a new pass you have to buy?

Future DLC which is planned all the way up to the middle-end of 2019 will very likely have another season pass attached to it, like a season 2 kind of thing. If you're interested in the game, I'd buy it now with all the DLC out not included for this price honestly unless you're in no rush to wait for at least a year.

The "Season Pass" (£19.99 on PSN) contains the following content, all of which has been released:
- Holiday Pack +
- Booster Pack +
- Episode Gladiolus
- Episode Ignis
- Episode Prompto
- Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades
- Gourmand Set

The "Royal Pack" (£11.99 on PSN) contains the following content, all of which has already been released:
- Insomnia City Ruins - new map leading straight to the game's climactic end
- First-Person View - mode allowing players to see Eos through Noctis's eyes
- Armiger Unleashed - powered-up combat mode
- Royal Cruiser - open-sea exploration, new fishing spots and recipes
- Regalia Type-D - new acquisition and enhancement quests

Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition (£19.85 in this deal; £26.99 on PSN at the moment) contains the base game, Season Pass and Royal Pack content

The following items will be released between now and the end of 2019. Final titles and pricing details aren't yet confirmed, but there's no way they'll be free to current owners of any edition. A new season pass with a confusing name is the most likely scenario
  • The Conflict of the Sage.
  • Episode Aranea
  • The Choice of Freedom
  • The Final Strike
I suspected as much. I already have day one edition and later purchased the season pass, I might wait for the "complete" edition
Bought this when advertised on here a few weeks ago. It has a 28gb update patch

That's not a patch...the the full game!!!
Finished the game a week after being released. Liked it but didnt love it. Will this edition change my mind ? Will it be enjoyable again ? Can i pick up from last save ?
It's a decent price if you don't own the game already.

I'm not impressed though; the "royal edition" dlc should've been in the game from release, or released as a free update later on. The fact that it isn't even included in the £19.99 season pass is outright greed on the part of the publisher.

Insomnia is hugely disappointing in the base game, obviously the game was rushed towards to end... pretty incredible since it was in development for about 10 years.
Thank you. I've been looking for this game for a good price. Heat added.
I can’t believe Square Enix is releasing 2 season passes for this game, this is just a money grab scheme guys, I’m a long time fan of Square and have waited for this game for over 10 years but this is just pathetic. I’ll wait until they release everything together and then buy it preowned to stick it to them.

Pretty sure he means when installing it, there is a 28 gig update patch. Although i can't verify that.

Season is just 1 year content. If anything new is added in the first year then it should be included in the season pass which it does. Wildlands has 2 season passes and rainbow six has 3. Black ops 3 zombies chronicles wasn't included in season pass. Modern Warfare Remastered has a dlc remaster which isn't included with base remastered game.
Since it takes square Enix a decade to put out a game they will milk this game as much as possible. Will wait for a real complete edition. I purchased the game and the season pass only to find out I was locked out of this new content. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me
Pretty sure it's not compatible with the game if you already have it, so the save files will be rendered unusable. So if you haven't got FFXV then buy this but if you have you need the Royal Pack to update your current game.
