Thanks. I was thinking of getting the psn one for £25 this weekend. A disk and the DLC swayed me. Being delivered tomorrow.
It's this price in Currys too.
So this deal is 4p cheaper than sold elsewhere ...... No wonder it's got 200 + heat . Yet again the flock are out in force with their itchy voting fingers . Yet again gaming "non deals" making a joke of "Hot UK Deals " .

I am always told that it is NOT children who vote these "Hot " .Would any adult gamer care to tell me what makes "4p off" a 200+ Hot deal ? (probably more than that after this comment ).

You should as it costs you money - Hardly shows the gaming sheep in a favourable light when it comes to voting ? Imagine a pair of trainers , a shirt , a skirt , a box of golf balls , an electic fryer etc - Pick your £29.99 item reduced to £29.95 in any other category other than "gaming" , post it as a "deal" and see the resulting heat - 100 cold if you are lucky .

Gamers have only themselves to blame . If gamers insist on voting every gaming "nondeal" hot then there is little incentive for the distributers to reduce prices or actually come up with a genuine deal . Think about it gamers, curb your mindless hot voting - then you might find some genuine deals appear saving you money .

Gaming community on this site are actually the strongest community of the site. Gamers on this site can distinguish a good and bad deal from each other better than anyone else. You’re not a gamer and I understand why you’re complaining and comparing the gaming community with “sheep flock” everywhere in the comments. One thing I assure you and that’s the gaming deals on this site has had the most impact on prices from distributors and retailers.

A few years ago, you had to wait from Christmas to Christmas for GAME to reduce their cheap knocked off tat near Black Friday to get a bargain. Now, thanks to the gaming community you can get a brand new game for half of what GAME asks within a few months from other places without having to wait months for a deal or paying hefty money for it from GAME. Thanks to this gaming community, the second hand market is also a broken market! Second hand games are going for the same money new games go for. I suggest you to stop being the mindless parrot repeating the same comment over and over and to actually try and see the impact. Yes a 4p difference in your simple mind is not a huge difference but in a retailer eyes who follows the trends on HUKD is a signal that they need to join the competition. Please refrain from being around gaming section if you cannot be constructive or helpful. It will keep you happier too!

Good try and I relise you have to protect your sinecure - fair enough . I also know that "Game " are for some reason a pariah whose deals always get voted cold (as you correctly say I am not a gamer so wouldn't know why ).

Yes my "simple " mind says that 4p off a £29.99 game is not a deal (about 0.12 % ) and in my "simple " mind when voted "Hot" on HUKD any level of common sense will tell the retailer they need not reduce prices further (if indeed the hot votes are followed up by purchases ?).

So is it me being "simple" and a "mindless parrot" or have the fundamentals of retail pricing (competition ) changed recently to suit yourself ? Must be cut throat competition if they only need to knock 4p off a £29.99 game to set the gamers drooling and reaching for their credit cards .

Each to their own of course , but do try to think it through - you must know the gaming community will not swallow these non deals ad infinitum so why not post just really good deals and force retailers to lower their prices ?

To me (a non gamer ) it is a joke when non deals are posted hundreds of times a day , in any other category they would be laughed off the site . I am sure you realise that and are probably as amazed as I (a simple mindless parrot ) .

Ok make hay while the sun shines - fair enough - I can't blame you for that ( its an earner after all )

Two things you could do to regain your self respect ?

a) Post only genuine deals
b) Put a "Loot Box" warning on any of your posts that contain such (I presume being an Expert you would know ).

But after all ,compared to the highly discerning gaming community (to whom 0.12 % off is a great deal ) my observations are just those of a "simple ,mindless parrot " .OK

Has it occurred to you that you might be taking this a little too seriously

Its a serious subject - Its costing members much money (if they are actually buying these non deals) . What retailer is going to bother lowering their prices significantly when a 0.12% price reduction gets 300 degrees of heat on here ?

Ok you can blame the gamers for voting these nondeals hot - they make their bed . I have my say on here against many things , but always to protect fellow members . I also expose myself to abuse , but I'm not a 13 year old who can be bullied by such trivia - Broad shoulders and a Duck's back is useful .

If you want a few likes, join the sheep , have a go at me , its free and doesn't worry me in the least . If just a few members realise their automatic hot votes on every game posted are keeping game prices up I will be getting somewhere . Its not rocket science .
Anyone think it may be cheaper on blackfriday

If Amazon were selling at the actual RRP of £34.99 would that make you happy? Is £5.04 / 14% off good enough? It really doesn't matter if this it marked down from £29.99 or £299.99 or just priced at £29.95 and not marked down at all, just under 30 quid for the game and DLC is good value and that's what people are voting on.

Judging from the three novels we got, that guy does.

He clearly has a rubbish life if he takes the time to write these essays. Why even click on the deal, why come on the site. He has real issues.
5p saving... cold from me !

Hot Deals, not Hot games !
Isn't the DLC a single use code?
