It's a good controller if you have a pc. You can't update it on mac or on the ps4. Sent back.
Dear cold voter, please tell me where it is cheaper. Or are you simply pressing cold because you dislike the product?? I myself would like to buy this, so if someone is clicking cold, it means they must know of a cheaper price elsewhere??? And if not, STOP. CLICKING. COLD.
I have one, it's a fantastic controller and at that price it's not much more than a DS4, if the wire doesn't bother you then buy it!! The only downside is the chambers you open to add the weights can be a little flimsy so be careful when opening that you don't mash them. The pc interface for setting up the macros isn't very intuitive but once you get the hang of it they are fantastic. Was the only way I could play nioh, gave it dark souls button layout with the macros below to switch stance.
This is actually a pretty good controller it just suffers a bit due to it's extremely bad software app and it's wired only. A Scuf standard controller it's not but decent all the same. Good points are that it's layout is the same as an Xbox 1 controller which we all know is miles better than the PS4 dual shock.
Cold because it suffers from sensitivity spikes when making diagonal movements with the analog sticks. They have tried to fix the issue in the software but it appears to be tied to the hardware. Means aiming is trash in FPS games.

At any price it is a waste of money.
THANKS, bought
Fantastic controller, totally cured my RSI problems caused by the bl**dy awful standard PS4 controller. Great price, don't understand the cold votes at all.

Is there any information regarding this on the internet? Like an article from Nacon or something? All I am seeing is really positive reviews and YouTube videos of people playing Destiny and Siege really well with this. I'm on the fence about this and this price is definitely a biting point now. The RRP of £90 was way too steep but this is close to a standard pad and I only have 1 Dualshock so after a second anyway.
How is this compared to the razer one?
It's a bloody awful pad... Got 1 excitedly day 1.. It looks like an Xbox pad but far from as comfy.. Force's a claw like grip because of ridges on bumper buttons... Sent it back after a few days... Then got a cronusmax and now use an Xbox elite pad... 10 times better
BLISTERS: only £59.99 :the gamecollection

A post I wrote on reddit, check the videos too. reddit.com/r/P…gs/
Also, R1/L1 don't register the press as well as the dualshock (used L1 for aim down sights, frequently it was going out of ADS for micro movement of my left index finger).
TL/DR: Has issues, nacon found a workaround for the right stick, the left stick has still input spikes, other buttons don't work as well as the dualshock. I think the dualshock is a superior controller, and it's cheaper.
It's a great controller, I use it to play Destiny and haven't had any problems at all with the analogue sticks. I see what people are saying about the L2/R2 buttons though, you have to learn to hold the pad slightly differently so the ridges don't dig into your fingers, but once you get used to it, it's fine.
Make no mistake, it is no where near as good as the Xbox Elite, but in my opinion it is infinitely better than the dual shock (but keep in mind I hate the Dual Shock's in-line sticks, people that don't mind this may disagree).

I think this is the issue, it might depend on what sort of games you enjoy playing. If you want to play pro, semi-pro or serious FPS E sports (chokes on cornflakes O.o), if you are going to sit on your PC programming macros for it etc, it might not be the controller for you.
If, like me, you like top down, third person RPGs and you just want a comfy controller with offset sticks, this is a great controller. I took it straight out of the box and I'm really happy with it, for the games I play at the level I play them at, for £20 more than the DS4 and no RSI, it's brilliant. ^_^

I hate the new layout, not sure how I managed to quote you twice and I can't delete it... ~sigh

Others have already linked you to some sources re: the issue.

I got the controller at Christmas and immediately could tell something was off with the analog sticks, My aim was no longer smooth in FPS games. I tried to tweak it using the software but literally nothing could lessen the wonky sticks.

Upon searching the web I found many others reporting the issue and despite promises to fix the issue most users just took them back or sold them on.

Other than the stick issues it's not a bad looking or feeling pad but the triggers are offset forcing a claw like grip. As has been mentioned before the standard PS4 pad is much better and cheaper.

Sounds like a no go here for me. I used to have an Xbox One but changed over to the PS4 Pro as my friends did the same. I did have the MS Elite Controller, which apart from being astronomically prices, it was bloody beautiful. I really wish Sony would do something similar. However, I was looking more towards the Xbox style stick placement.

Oh well, I'll be sticking to my PC for FPS games and just use the PS4 for exclusive third person story games and such.

Thanks for the advice and info.
You can get a proper DS4 v2 from shopto for £36.85.
