Makes me reminisce about the days when I was 20 something, single and gaming into the early hours of the morning in Medal of Honor and Battlefield Vietnam team deathmatches. I don't regret becoming a father but I do miss those days of gaming liberty
I hated the game upon release, but absolutely think it Is Ace now, well worth 9.99
If you haven't played NMS at all then you're in for a treat as the game stands now and it's only going to get better. There is so much content for a tenner! A very relaxing game indeed.
It was fairly cheap until yesterday, it was 15.99 on Steam and GOG

Indeed, I went to buy it about an hour after the sale finished
That's one way of masking the bugs I guess!
I bought a cheap physical copy a couple of weeks okay on ps4 to see if I really would like the game, then jumped on the pc version once the update landed, well worth it, PC version looks sharper and crisper, but I am running a regular non pro ps4.
Sell the kids on eBay whilst you can still get something for them mate, you'll regret you didn't once they've reached teenagehood
Been playing it for the last week and it's awesome.
Permadeath mode really adds to the gameplay. I always thought the game was too easy.
It still plays and feels the same.
it's 34.99 on psn
I really fancied playing this, but the bad reviews put me off. Glad to see they've updated it.
Can someone briefly tell me what they've done to update it, please? Are they still updating the game?
NMS really is a decent game now, but it's not for everyone. It doesn't hand-hold or give you specific instruction on everything you need to do, like most games nowadays. It leaves you to find your own path. The latest update has also improved pretty much every aspect of the game, and there is still more to come.
It really is stunning game visually, also...
How do you know it's not worth it if you dont even have the game? lol
That's LIFE
I am not in the habit of giving developers who blatantly lie about their products, my hard earned money. They ruined any chance of being well respected when they first released this game. I have plenty of friends who confirm that it is still not worth playing, but they agree that should the game go on offer somewhere for 'cheaper than a meal' then it would be worth it.
Err no. They download as updates usually do.
Thank you I hate downloads
Fantastic game now
I'm 46 and now have time back now the daughter is grown up a bit. Unfortunately I didn't get the reflexes back
On a related note, NMS was on sale for the same price during PSN's Summer Sale (which ended 2 days ago), but a physical copy is always better as it will retain some trade-in value if you ever want to sell it.
