Show us proof of the order from Amazon for 260

No.
Owned one for several months now. As a casual gamer, I see no "huge" upgrade from a Slim to a Pro to justify the price of a Pro.

I'm sure religious gamers / PS fans will say different.

Got mine for £260 warehouse deal damaged box and sold my slim for £180 so not too upset about it. I would if I paid over £300 for it though.
Tempting but I want to hold out for prime day. Hoping for a bundle or £299 price alone

Fairly well known deal. Plenty of expired listings and I've bought multiple at that price.

Prime day is coming and they will likely have 20% off them again then.

Not the greatest price for a console that’s been around for a while and RRP at £349.99....
A few weeks ago it was voted hot at £349. Apparently it was the best thing since sliced bread. Even though I bought it cheaper over a year ago...

Pretty sure it was just you throwing that demand out there (instead of searching HUKD yourself).

The price has been consistently increasing this year.

Thanks to HUKD I managed to get one for £240 with FIFA 18, around Xmas, so the game was still worth something.

If you can wait, then wait. The offers will flood (as always) later in the year.

Happy shopping

What do you think the chances of it falling below 300 before Sept/Oct time?

what are you smoking? the difference is pretty big on most games.. even on ones only run at 1440p lol. you either don't have a 4k tv or your 4k tv is tiny. 55+ inches to see the full effect

Have to agree that while it's not on a par with my X (hardly surprising at the price points) it's pretty stunning in some games. Even older games like Uncharted 4 looks absolutely stunning on a good panel.

There's a good chance of that happening this month, with Prime Day putting pressure on retailers

I expect an official price cut to £300 in late August. Then a 'deal' will be something below that ... good chance of £250 on Black Friday.
Better hold out for the PS4 Pro slim announcement at E3...oh wait.

65 inch 4k HDR Panasonic. I've got an X too and the quality on that blew me away when upgrading from a One to an X.

The same step up isn't there from a Slim to a Pro.

Yeh I'm pretty sure I paid around £320 in December 2016.
Got mine for £205 in a Tesco Direct glitch in December. Sold the extra games and controller which brought the final price down ro £85. It's still boxed and unopened as I've been a bit busy
Got mine in the tesco glitch to not really playing it at the moment. Prefer playing the switch a bit sick of trophies at the moment its nice to play a game where you dont have to unlock any trophies or achivments and play as much as you like without worrying about them.

I do this already.. just play away and don't worry about them.. don't even look at them.
Still going to wait until Prime Day. Probably a bad decision though if Amazon barely ever have any in stock.

Is the difference more when it comes to PSVR when it's tied to a Pro?

They were cheaper without proof required. I paid £274 on Black Friday for the Pro and 2 x AAA games worth around £70/80. It’s just unfortunate they have gone up in value due to supply & demand

I did something similar - ordered pro from Amazon warehouse when they had their 20% off offer on. Came down to around £250 or so, then you do the controller trick and knock more off and then you sell your standard PS4/slim and before you know it you have a pro for very little.

I'm quite tempted to check warehouse the next time they have 20% off. May I just ask what is the `Controller trick`?
Got paid £6 to walk out of currys with a white pro and 2 games

I'd to know how the 'controller trick' is pulled off please

Worrying about trophies...
1st world problems 😁
We've got a fair bit of time before the next gen comes along, so there's no need to rush into the half-way upgrade. I'm quite sure these will be a fair bit cheaper soon. Prime Day might be a potential biting point.
these should be around the £270 mark to match the US prices as they had a price drop after E3. i want one as some games do run a bit sluggish but that could just be the game not the machine. i do have an original ps4, looked at a slim but no optical output for some reason. anyway i will hold out for a decent price. good luck lads and lasses!
Only upgrade if you have a 4k TV
This is gud deal ye?
Give me a Pro with a 4K/UHD player and I’ll snap you up!
