have some heat!

Just pre-ordered mine at Asda for £280 with discount absolutely over the moon.
This is still a decent price but I feel £299 would of looked better for people

How did you manage to preorder one from asda?

Just go in and ask for a ticket, its like a raffle ticket. They'll put what ever number you have on a ps4 out the back, then collect it tomorrow or Saturday at the latest

Another cold pro deal despite being under the rrp?

Methinks the ps4 fanboys are revolting after paying bucks for theirs and a shiny better new one being released shortly afterwards.

I have feeling that it's xbox fan's voting cold.

Just can't fathom how an item under rrp on release can be considered cold whether you like it or not.
This is even cheaper than when the original ps4 was released.

hot from me ill pop in tomorrow to hopefully pick one up

its a PS4 on steroids.... infact it is the PS4 with the performance that i had hoped it would have had on initial launch!. and at the other guy....

@hatton420 stop it with the disinformation. It HAS a blu ray drive, just not one capable of 4K moves like the Xbox1S (which is capable of 4K movies but is nothing hardware wise compared to the PS4 pro)

(of course later next year xbox scorpio will come out and the fanboy arguments will keep on rolling )

Is this available to order in store at this price ?

Family member has 10% staff discount but will not setup online purchase so I have to go in store with her and make payment.

I don't agree. I think most games will still play the same in terms of performance, that's what the power should be changing and it doesn't look it. I checked an article, they said games like Mass Effect Andromeda would be 30fps, Unchartered will be the same as will Infamous Second Son. So I think it's just the usual 4K marketing rubbish, most will just be upscaled. I was hoping we'd see better FPS

Many of these games are legacy in a sense and being Post patched to do bare minimum in getting them playing happy on the Pro.
Some patches for newer games are of course better than others where developers have spent more time eg. Titan fall if 4k30 or 1080p60. Tomb raider is another that offers same modes and mode.

Next final fantasy developers have announced that they will be aiming for same
Resolutions.

If buying your first PS4 it's clear cut win.
Upgrade for others is a choice depending on how important image quality is to you and if you want to additionally get 4K streaming services and gaming on your 4K tv.
PS4 Pro is also allowing you to enjoy improvements until PS5 comes out. It's a bit like Apples S series Iphone releases.

i am expecting big improvements on the ps4pro for PSVR titles as well, not to mention Horizon ZD and basically all up and coming titles. old stuff, well sure YMMV.

personally i am waiting till after xmas however and see if there are any good bundles.

Jus picked up my PS4P in store at £299 after staff discount :P

It was kind of reactionary buy in case the price goes back up to £350 or stock is out.
I'm going try to hold back from opening it in case their is a better offer for Black Friday.
