I know what you mean I'm unsure about getting one, really want it, here's a link to review for those interested. http://www.rocketchainsaw.com.au/hardware/nacon-revolution-pro-review-ps4-controller/

Seems to be more favoured by reviewers than the razer raiju controller which costs £149.99.

I understand latency with wireless is a thing and of course if you want an elitist's type controller then a solid wired connection would be best but I honestly think Sony have lost out on this one. If I recall correctly, both "Elite" controllers use a wired connection and offer no wireless alternative due to Bluetooth interfering at events or something along the lines of.

The fact they give the user no choice gains minus points for me and bonus points for Microsoft for their controller. Of course there's no other option but Microsoft have got it right. It feels excellent to use over my DS4 controller.

Agreed, should have a physical switch to turn on and off Bluetooth module so that it can only go through the wire when playing competitively and gives the convenience when wanting to go wireless with any device, phone, PC etc.

It's possible to use the Xbox One Elite controller on a PS4 with a USB dongle but that USB dongle costs a pretty penny.

It's my belief that the newer PS4 controller actually allows this now. There's an option located on my PS4 Pro that allows a certain PS4 DS4 controller to either use bluetooth or usb when connected via USB.

Just under £50 new on eBay: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221844025788

They haven't got wireless Xbox one elite functionality yet even with the wireless dongle so wired only for now.
V2 elite controller if it comes would likely have Bluetooth so should be successful IMO.

Not trolling.....but

I got the Xbox One Elite Controller with my console and i didn't see why it was worth £100. It made no difference to my gaming and nothing improved. In fact the Power A Controller I bought from Amazon for £25 gave me better drift results on The Crew. I cant see how this can be any better than the Elite Controller which at best looks worth the money.

Anybody disagrees please tell me.

ill give you 35 for your Elite Controller if you like (_;)

i had it....returned it! heres why:

very slippy surface/ grip
right and left analog sticks are different from each other; one concave and other like standard ps4.
programmable buttons are ok but just didnt fit my hands right. good news is that you won't hit them by mistake.
propiatory cable/connector
no Bluetooth
cant boot up ps4 with it
triggers feel really bad and horrible plastic
weird feeling dpad
no trigger stops for quick fire in fps games

good things:

software is really good and it has 4 different programmable modes
big and close together

just my problems i had

Personally I just prefer the extra weight to the controller over the standard one. If you can get used to the paddles then they're also quite useful in a few games. However on the whole no. Can't say it gives me that "competitive edge".

On topic; Interesting looking controller, but will it last is the real question X)

Had it for 3 days and returned it..just uncomfortable

my friend was a PC gamer. he got a ps4. he then decided to get a expensive USB hub to connect between the ps4 to his PC keyboard and mouse.. (£120)
he said after not getting in top 10 on fps pvp he was in top 2.. (on ps4) using the mouse to aim for him was so much more precise and what he was familiar with..

The new standard PS4 Controller can be used wired when plugged in to the PS4 via the USB charging cable, so no latency...

I took it to CEX 2 days after i got it.

If anyone's just looking for a controller that has the paddles and mods, here's an alternative for £45:

zavvi.com/ps4…tml?switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&affil=awin&awc=2549_1484009591_6bc31c69d5e47a4400a90b58d6531207&utm_source=AWin-224327&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=AffiliateWin

It's still overpriced IMO but it's a good deal less than £150 (and £80).

Been looking for the Razer Raiju cant find stock though

Doesn't work miracles I'm afraid. If you're not very good without, it's not going to make a huge difference. Learn to use the paddles so you don't need to take your thumbs off the sticks. Adjust the sensitivity etc.

Thats basically cheating , things like this should be banned from competitive modes.

So In two days you mastered the Elite controller, learnt to use all the paddles, configured the thumbsticks to your exact preferences, didn't see any change in performance so traded it in?

same idea, officially licensed, so can't really call it cheating, just a different input method anyone cane buy

good controler but no native pc support. I bought this on release thinking it would be native to pc as i had heard DS2 controlers were but you still need a button remapping software to use it. pc people be careful.

This lets me use the Xbox One Elite with a PS. Its wired only and the headset wont work through the controller. The work around is to use a USB headset (I use a wireless one).

brookaccessory.com/det…04/

This can be had for around £30-£40.

Not cheating at all, but certainly like shooting fish in a barrel! If you're using a keyboard and mouse and NOT coming first by a country mile against people using a controller then you're doing something wrong.

So is this controller actually better?

I play sensitivity maxed on most games, then use the long sticks on the elite controller, once you get used to the speed they are the most accurate sticks (reasonably) available. You have to play with the settings on the Xbox and on the game, but its good, the hair triggers are great to, but its all subjective.

Wow, how can you pay money for a Cronus Max?

The guy who runs this company cloned the hardware and software of the Titan One

Doubt they will be able to clone the new Titan Two though, so hope this business dies

I'd call that unfair anyway. One of the main positives of playing on console is that everyone is on a level playing field. With that accessory it completely unbalances things, essentially it's 'pay more to win'.

Tempted to get one of these...

I really want to buy this but worried I won't like the feel of it after using DS for so many years
