Bought it when it came out, played about twenty mins of it and seemed pretty hard initially. Haven't played it since but then also haven't turned my PS4 on in 2 months since having a new job sooooo... When's the next £1 listing bonanza on ebay? Haha.

Thanks, I just wish I got to play it more these days. Impulse buy before Xmas, console is a slim and upgraded to 2tb, only paid £110 for the console initially. Feels like such a waste.

It's very difficult and takes many hours to get good enough to make any decent progress.

Would you say it's like nioh?

It's pretty hard, I loved it but there were times I thought I stood zero chance of ever finishing it. It's a steep learning curve.

Its very hard but unlike Dark Souls when you learn the play offensively it just clicks and it becomes much easier, learning to parry and deflect is the key to winning any boss..

I've completed Dark Souls 1 and 3, plus all the DLC. I enjoyed both games but found them frustrating at times but rewarding. I've played Nioh and think that it is similar to Dark Souls in terms of difficulty although I've only got as far as the 4th Boss.

Sekiro, I've really struggled with. The fighting mechanics are so very different to Dark Souls. I don't seem to have the same motivation to keep playing and trying to beat a particularly difficult boss in Sekiro as I did in Dark Souls 1 and 3. Plus, you don't have the option of COOP play either in Sekiro. This added a whole new dimension to Dark Souls (1 and 3) and was a life-saver when tackling a really difficult boss.

Like sohighicantouchthesky said, I bought it and have stopped playing, although I've probably given it about 12-15 hours. Just can't beat Madam Butterfly and gave up after multiple attempts (20+).
I'll go back to it, and don't regret buying the collectors edition with the statue, but it's not as much fun as I expected it to be.

£31.99 is about as cheap as you might buy it now......
See you at £20

Madam Butterfly is very easy, got to play offensively, keep attacking her get her and her stamina fills quickly, learn her move set and she is a breeze to dodge... you can defeat her in under a minute and that is both times.

Cheers for the advice. I've looked at loads of youtube vids on the fight, and got her close to death in the second phase, but still didn't make it

Lolzzz. So true.
It's a fun and challenging game, once you get the hang of it. You need to pay close attention to the enemy moveset. What I did wrong in the beginning was to panic and run/dodge. The most important thing to know is that dodging isn't everything and posture damage is key to defeating some enemies. When an enemy does a swing attack, double jump on him. Don't forget to parry thrust attacks. For better parrying thrust attacks, get the shinobi art Mikiri Counter and dodge into a thrust attack for huge posture damage. For grab attacks, dodge and don't forget to use that mist raven prosthetic.

It's fun to upgrade the shinobi arts and prosthetics as you please, but if you want to make the game easier, this list of upgrades will assure smooth sailing to the end of the game. thegamer.com/sek…st/
I have completed every dark souls 2 or 3 times and bloodborne. Though for some reason just cant get myself to buy sekiro i think maybe because it looks very like nioh which i did enjoy and that I’m currently playing persona 5 which has taken up so much of my game time but il maybe bite when its cheaper again around 20 mark

If you've played all the souls games it would be a shame not to give Sekiro a go. It doesn't have the same character progression, but it has very satisfying combat to master. Damn, I've made myself want to play it again.

I think the main thing that has put me on the back burner is the customisation the main thing i love in From games is the weapons and the armour but I hear this is missing, also the co-op but maybe less so as I recently done demon souls without co op it was brutal but brilliant. Though your right it would be a shame i definitely will pick it up at some point
