Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron's Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best- guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.

As an uprising emerges, Garrett finds himself entangled in growing layers of conflict. Lead by Orion, the voice of the people, the tyrannized citizens will do everything they can to claim back the City from the Baron's grasp. The revolution is inevitable. If Garrett doesn't get involved, the streets will run red with blood and the City will tear itself apart.

PS3 is £19.99

PS4 is £29.99 Here

Good price. Heat added

Having played it, I would not pay this much for this game! Maybe £5 on a rainy day!

Having played it on the PS4, I think it's a great game. My son quite likes it too, but he generally prefers games with more action
Those who have played previous games from the Thief series seem to be disappointed though

Me, I love it. Can't wait to get back home tonight and carry on creeping around the Asylum

Truthful? You sure it was Game? (_;)

An absolute pile of red hot, steaming .........

Avoid at all costs.

It's pants. Had mine for a few hours then on Fleabay.

Get Wolfenstein instead, much better.

all those who dislike this game, can u please elaborate. it's had mixed reviews and I do like the look and idea of this game. what's the thing that's wrong?

I know right! The guy also knew there had been previous games in the Wolfenstein series! Don't think he was the normal modern 'CoD' head gamer..

Basically all you do is steal stuff (clues in the name!) you go into a room and spend ages collecting stuff, move onto another room, collect lots more stuff and repeat. If you dare go down one of the restricted access streets you will immediately be hit with long loading screen. Absolutely zero flow to the game.

I can't understand that comment - that description does not seem to match the game I'm playing. I don't understand what you mean by a long-loading screen - are you playing on the PS4? Everything seems very slick to me
The game makes you think, you have to plan how you are going to get to places in the multi-level environment you play in. There are puzzles to solve, variety in the environments you move to for different chapters.
There are different ways to play your character, each chapter comes with it's own challenges. The Asylum level I am on at the moment scared the crap out of me when playing in a dark room with the sound up

I REALLY like this game. It almost seems like some people want quick action and get easily bored, they play the first chapter and give up through lack of excitement. That may not be the case, but I reallycan't fit the feedback here to the game I play

I play Skyrim differently to my son. I go around doing side quests, exploring, building my character up with a strategy, searching each area well to make sure I have found all the important things and stashed loot. My son just likes hitting things, then gets bored, starts again with a wizard and starts burning things instead - never gets too far into the game.
I wonder if thats the situation here? Those who have patience and like thinking things through Vs those who want action.
Having said that even my lad likes Thief

Yeah been playing it on the PS4. Thief has loading screens galore, try playing some thing like Watchdogs which loads everything in the background (after initial boot). Thief doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Skyrim. It's a poor game and the majority of reviews and rapid price drop back this up. I appreciate there are always going to be people who love games I find poor, I appreciate and respect that. Enjoy your game dude.

thanks guys. I'm no clearer though. might give the demo a go anyway.

Yep, I agree IH, there are more bad than good reviews so I'm in the minority
I guess I'm just sat here in this niche on my own

I only paid £25 for mine brand new

39 - chapter 1 can be a bit slow and basic, it gets better

Currently £9.99 on steam

I just played the demo. not bad. not great. I know it's just a bit of the level but it just reminds me of dishonored. very dark and dingy. not much colour.
