How does this compare to Lost Legacy?

It’s almost the same game but with different story and locations.

Is it essential to have played the earlier games to appreciate this one?

Can be said about the whole uncharted franchise

Tempted to pick them up on the Store both on sale atm. Need to decide soon though.

Not sure if there is already a thread on here, so how do these pre owned companies compare in terms of the items condition, Game, CEX, Boomerang, Music Magpie, Grainger Games. Always a bit unsure about pulling the trigger on these prefer to see in the flesh first or in the case of eBay see pics description etc

Not 100% essential, but do yourself a favour and pick up the Uncharted 1-3 collection on PS4. If you play those before playing 4, you’ll understand why it was suggested. Gameplay wise, story wise, graphically, that’s the way to go.

Great games and they have never looked better or played better than on PS4.

Boomerang are always SUPERB, Grainger a bit up and down quality wise. Not used the others so not sure.

Boomerang = rose among thorns there! You’re getting an ex rental disc that’s been cleaned, plus a brand new box and any dlc codes unused (they don’t send the boxes out when they rent games). So like new is literally that.

Then the rest you mentioned have their ups and downs. I’ve personally had the dirtiest games turn up from Grainger. All are capable of the odd juicy spot or free pube with every game they send though. Nothing an anti-bac wipe won’t sort out...

That's always my concern for a few quid more you can buy from the bay a brand new copy, with no worries about the condition. For the hassle of returning if I was sent a poor copy id probably just keep it.

Buying from any of them is a minor gamble, roll the dice. Have had some winners but also my fair share of suspiciously sticky cases. Bonus points for using 'pulling the trigger' haven't seen or heard that used for about a decade!

Not really essential - it's a different story/adventure every game, so you're not going to be lost, plot-wise - but there are a few references to earlier games that you won't appreciate as much and a lot of character development throughout all the games (but especially this one) that I think won't have as much emotional impact if you don't play the others first.

I'd recommend getting the Nathan Drake Collection (first 3 games remastered on PS4) first. It's a similar price, so you'll get 3 games for the price of one, and they're not the longest games (maybe 8-10 hours each) but they are a lot of fun and very cinematic, so it's a bit like playing through 3 movies, so you'll be onto the 4th game before you know it.

Gameplay that's consistent across games in the same series? Unheard of!

By both do you mean Nathan Drake Collection and 4? Because Lost Legacy isn't on sale. If you're not sure whether you like Uncharted or not, I'd say just get the Nathan Drake Collection to start with - everything will be on sale again soon enough at Christmas, if not before.

I've played Lost Legacy. I was referring to the other 2. I might pick up Nathan Drake Collection then.

Playing this at the moment, lots of cut scenes and lots of climbing. Apart from that it's not a bad game.
