PS4 V2 Dualshock Controller (Blue/Red) for £26.99 from Sainsbury (Brand New!) - but min £42 spend

I've realized there's a way to get a brand new PS4 V1 Dualshock Controller for £26.99 from Sainsbury. The catch is that they only seem to have the Blue or Red color available.

They have some vouchers that on the first shop done online, if we spend over £60 we can get £18 off or spend over £100 and save £20. The codes are below:

£18 off £60+ spend code is SCSEAXEDCC

£20 off £100+ spend code is SCSEAXXDCD

So the simple trick is to get the controller for £44.99 and do some 'regular' shopping until you reach the £60 mark and bam ... you get 18 GBP off (just assume its for your controller or perhaps for your groceries)!

For example I got the controller and merely added some regular stuff which I had to buy anyway like milk, deodorants etc. and was able to get the discount.

The current offer ends on 14th December 2016 but I guess this is something that crops up regularly.

I've noticed that brand new controllers are extremely expensive so this may be one way of getting it cheaper. And the beauty is, you don't need to buy the controller, you can just swap it for a game like GTA V for instance and get that dirt cheap.

Props to @armybike who made me aware of this 'idea' but thought it deserved its own post.

You should mention in the description title you need to spend £60! Bit sneaky!

If you jump through loads of hoops, you can get a cheap V1 pad. Wut?! oO

The deal is the code.

Fair point, I honestly didn't think that way. However, technically the min spend is £42 since we get the discount - provided we load up the basket / trolley exactly to £60.

Exactly. I just wanted to sort of create awareness that it could be used that way - not necessarily only for groceries. Being new to the UK for example I wasn't even aware that we could buy electronics stuff from Sainsbury.

I cant see the red or blue online just black??

Great minds think alike! haha! Not sure if those codes are still working though.

Interesting contrast in the temp rating between the posts, ha!

Presumably they were a mere £37.99 each back then so it was two for £57.98. Now they are back to £44.99 each it's two for £71.98. Still the cheapest deal currently around. I actually bought one myself yesterday and made it up to the £60 with gin!

I ordered, yesterday when my shopping was delivered it was out of stock - would have done my shopping elsewhere had I known!
