Dropping nicely. Cheapest pre-order yet, I think?

A dark and violent crime thriller set against the backdrop of 1940’s Los Angeles
Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, Cole Phelps, an LAPD detective is thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what's right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core.
Utilizing revolutionary facial animation technology that captures every nuance of an actor's facial performance in astonishing detail, L.A. Noire blends the breathtaking action with true detective work for an unprecedented interactive experience. Solve brutal crimes, plots and conspiracies inspired by real crimes from 1947 Los Angeles, one of the most corrupt and violent times in L.A. history. Search for clues, chase down suspects and interrogate witnesses as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.

maybe its a generation thing....
A movie like Alien or Star Wars or Godfather gets released every time the format changes VHS,DVD BluRay and people snap them up at same price as latest movie..
in gaming if the game is over a year old it's ancient and should be loads cheaper and/or dismissed....
I could list my top ten games of all time and only one from the last couple of years would make the list... I'd happily pay £30 for this over £50 for a online only FPS that will be redundant in a year as the cool kids have moved on the a cut and paste version of The same game
You forgot ROFL and ROFLMAO.
It's nearly seven years old, it was already a limited game back then and will be kind of laughable now, and they've done barely anything to it to justify the price.
I'll bite at a tenner.
Ancient? lmao, not in the slightest.

So? seven years does not make a game ancient lol, not even close. Pong, now that's an ancient game.
Great game and I completed it two times - twice in 100% progress and twice in 100% Achievements

I have to agree. How many iterations of the original Star Wars trilogy have we bought over the years, beginning with VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, and hopefully soon 4k. It's such a norm in the movie industry but when the same thing happens in gaming people moan that either the re-release is too expensive or that gamers in general shouldn't be playing old games and should only ever play current-gen releases. As if it would be odd if we wanted to watch Star Wars or Alien of LOTR over and over in higher quality.
On the subject of LA Noire, I don't think I'll be double-dipping with this one. The gameplay was okay but the story was a huge let-down. Such a shame as the technology behind the facial animations was top notch.
Same for DLC Editions, you have Resident Evil 7's Gold Edition for RRP £34.99 and the Equivalent for Horizon: Zero Dawn at RRP £54.99... I simply don't get it! (Noted RRP for comparison but obviously other sites drop the price lowwer upon release.)
Heat for the cheapest price I've seen on this though
what's that fishy smell
Stick with the PS3 version definitely not worth double dipping for this mediocre game
