seems like a good price tbh, hot from me

If you happy to wait a couple months, the PSP2 should be out before Christmas: ]http//ww…tml

Cold it can't play UMD's - Only joking.

Yep, good price, shame I have just sunk a load of money into PS3 games!

Heat!

last years fake next gen psp

this item has 3.99 postage

not a bad price - might get one to run alongside my ps3 and let the missis have summat

Good price for retail, BUT I think your better off checking eBay.

I purchased my GO (I prefer to make up my own mind before listening to everone saying it's ****), anyway I got my brand new sealed GO from a very nice seller on eBay who'd got the GO and £50 PSN credit as part of a mobile deal. I paid £135 for the GO and the £50 credit !!!

OK that might have been lucky, but have a look.......if not go for this deal.

Thoughts on the GO:- ideal as a smaller cousin to the PSP, BUT really only to be used when travelling. I still use my PSP Phat (for homebrew) and the sleek 3000 for chilling out at home.
The GO takes a bit of getting used to due to the cramp controls lay out, BUT the fact that you can have 24gb (using an 8gb card) of quality games, films and music is a bonus with no cumbersome UMD's to lug about. I must admit that the slide out screen can start to wobble if you're a bit heavy handed, as a friend of mine found out.

So....if you dont have a PSP and your looking to play games on a budget - get a 3000.
Own a PSP wth a big collection of games - only conisder the GO as an extention of your Sony gaming experience, where you will need to spend about £15 for each quality game download.

That was the rumour in April 09 before they disappointed the world with the PSP Go.

mcvuk.com/new…ise

Is this years rumour, let's all hope they have finally cottoned onto people (well me for one) wanting something between a PSP and an Iphone. If the Go was a bit more powerful, a full featured phone, had two analogue sticks and a little slimmer I would pay top dollar for one. If it was running Android too then that would be FAB!

You can expand the internal 16GB flash memory with an M2 (Memory Stick Micro) card. These cards are available up to the current maximum capacity of 32GB. Hence, 48GB is the potential maximum storage you can carry with you with the PSP Go console.

Well done with your deal with the eBay member. What did you spend the £50 PlayStation Network credit on? Do you have any recommendations for titles that work well on the PSP Go (or your PSP-3000 Series model)? Or did you spend the credit on PS3-based titles?

BFN,

The PSP GO is an epic failure, why anyone would want wone over the previous UMD models is beyond me!? There are all kinds of homebrew and emulatiors that can be used on the older models, which makes it a great retro all-in-one hand held games system.

The only possible reason to own one is for collection purposes, as I reckon it will be a bit of a rare collectable in years to come, since it's going to be so shortlived.

One of the silliest 'allegedly' hot deals of late.

Has the PSP Go got a hacked cfw yet? Been waiting on buying one till a working cfw is released.

i thort you cannot post ebay link on this forumbut anyways heat added

"Thort"??

Seriously?

im gonna vote hot, but for what it is,. a PSP with the UMD this should be under 100 notes...

Voted hot as if you don;t have a PSP and are not bothered about UMD's then it is a good portable gaming device and much cheaper than on release.

However, my recommendation would be to get a new PSP slim for £80/90, the dogs swingy bits of gaming devices.

"Thort"??Seriously?

Kettle, pot are the two words that spring to mind here.

It made me laugh though.

Get the 3000 model for £99.99 instead.

You mean "Theriously?"....:-D

Anyway, the 'Go' is awful, but if this is cheaper than anywhere esle can hardly vote it cold.

My thoughts exactly.

Great buy. Bought my psp Go a few months ago, great for sticking in yor pocket. mostly filled with 60 Marvel Comics and a few movies, along with 6 or so games in there, great for holidays and a quick blast at work!

Good price

I wouldn't touch a PSP GO, but this is a great price so voted up!

Any price is a rip off for a PSP-GO!

Nicely made but lack of UMD and HIGH prices for games on PSN...
If they had help us migrate then yes...but as you carn't stick with the PSP-3000

You carn't get SOCOM FTB 3 for £9.99 on the PSPGO can you!

Is this any good as a media player?

The PSP go was a dumb idea. What sony should of done is make an all in one device that incorporated all of sonys brands e.g an iphone killer with input from walkman, sony ericsson, playstation, cybershot, bravia, vaio. Maybe even include one of those tiny projectors we keep hearing about so we can play games on a ig screen no matter where we are.

And they really need to make full use of the PSX backwards compatibility, so many people had PS1s, young people growing up in the 90s, middle aged men for fifa, tomb raider, gran turismo etc but I wonder just how many of them have PSPs or even know that you can play PSX games on them. Its like sony kept it a secret or something. No wonder people turn to CFW.

Sony just have a handful of PSX titles available to DL, many are overpriced. They should have the complete back catalogue available for £3-£5 per game would be fair. Can you imagine instead of people in the pub messing about with iPhones they were playing Crash bandicoot and tekken they remember from back in the day.

They need to get a decent digital distribution program sorted out, as the Sony ones are half baked at best. The PSP2 should be able to play the full back cat of PS2 games now too. Somehow though, I just don't think Sony will pull it off. God knows why, file sharers across the world have no problem making almost every video game in existence available at the click of a button, so why cant Sony do the same?

I'll address your last paragraph first; Sony operates across many territories within copyright law applicable to each. They are weird like that.

For the all-encompassing gadget you are referring to in your opening paragraph, keep checking the Sony-Style site for details of the next VAIO laptop range to be on general sale later this month/early June 2010.

I do not think the ability to play original PlayStation titles is a "secret". The first or second icon you meet in the menu in the "Latest" section of the PlayStation Store is now for PlayStation (One) titles.

Apple iPhone "apps" are, in general, disposable & are geared towards a collection of individuals bragging about their latest download that does nothing special.

PlayStation Portable & Nintendo DS series titles, on the other hand, will not give the owner kudos stood in a public bar. The two software delivery models are different, & are this way by design.

Yes, the "PSP2" (name to be confirmed) is coming. Models are already in the UK being prototyped & software is being written for the platform for release 2010/2011. If an announcement is not made at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) trade show in June this year (15 to 17 June 2010), then it will be forthcoming at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) from 16 September to 19 September 2010.

The PSP Go was never designed to replace the PSP 3000 series, & will still be on sale when the "PSP2" is released.
