As a PSVR newbie, my recommendations so far are...

Ocean Descent in VR Worlds is mind blowing. It was the first thing I tried and you just instantly feel like you're in another place. It's so impressive and made me say wow several times to myself! This is the one to let your older relatives try over Christmas.

Super Hot - I paid £11.99 on PSN for it and it is damn good. Tricky at first to get the hang of throwing objects but you feel like a badass when you shoot a guy, he throws his gun up into the air as he falls, you catch it and then use that gun and your own gun to kill the two guys running at you from the right. Make sure you have plenty of space around you for this one as it's so immersive you'll easily find yourself punching the wall. You need the move controllers for this one.

Beat Saber - Paid £24.99 from PSN - really fun and I've only played a few levels so far but it's really good. Check YouTube for gameplay vids. This is another one for anyone in the family over Christmas. Also need the move controllers.

Astro Bot - this was another 'wow' game for me - watching it on YouTube doesn't give you any idea of how it feels to have your little astro bot dude running around on the floor in front of you. I love that you have to crouch and lean to look under or behind things to find the other little astro bots. The graphics look great, really polished and the music is really good...so good that it reminded me of Rayman Legends. Played with the regular PS4 pad.

Until Dawn Rush of Blood I hate rollercoasters so any of the downward sections of the track made me feel a bit uneasy but only the way I would on a real rollercoaster, not due to the headset. I just braced myself and the game is really good, you use the move controllers to control your guns - good graphics, no motion sickness, unlimited ammo and a good atmosphere. This was free on PS+ a while ago so I added it to my library just in case I ever bought PSVR. Glad I did. It's currently £15.99 and if I'd paid that, I wouldn't have been disappointed with it.

I wouldn't say the PSVR is blurry but you shouldn't expect crisp HD graphics. Some games look better than others and the ones I've praised above all look fine to me.

Things I wouldn't bother trying: The luge game in VR Worlds - graphics are really not good and I felt a bit sick playing it, when you crash it's so jarring that I stopped after a minute.

Kitchen Resi 7 demo - really short, about 3 mins long which wasn't worth the download time. The graphics aren't good, lots of flashing and tearing. I thought I'd be scared but wasn't. The only cool thing was when the woman was close up in your face, it felt real but wouldn't say it was worth the download time.

Invasion - free animation thing on PSN with a rabbit and aliens. It lasts about 3 mins and again wasn't worth the download time.

At least it's clearer for people to see who really want a PSVR cheap
Been talking myself out of getting a PSVR for weeks, and made it through Black Friday. Finally caved in
Are there any deals with controllers?

Not recently. I'm gonna make a trip to CEX and trade in RDR2 when I finish it, in exchange for two controllers (IF they have stock in store and IF they are in good nick)

😔 is soon gonna be 😃
It’s unbelievably good. If you get Astrobot, you’ll laugh and smile more than any computer game has made you do in years.
PSRV is model 1 of the future.
Finally bitten on the psvr. Super deal, thanks for posting

I am new to ps4 and vr. I used 3 times and the picture is slightly blurry all the time. Idk if this is normal. I was expecting crisp view i adjusted everything in settings. I am a little bit dissapointed. I play max 30 min because i am getting headache from blurry view
Why saying expired?
Still in stock by the looks
Do the old move controller still work with VR? I still have two from the PS3 days.

It definitely shouldn't be blurry. Have you made sure to use the button at the bottom of the visor to adjust the screen? Other than that, you'd probably have to adjust the IPD settings to make sure it's personalised for your eyes.

Have you done the IPD settings? This is only the first generation of VR , the ps4 has to render the game twice so the graphics aren't going to be as good as your Ps4 on a tv.
Nice find. Ordered and heat added

Do you have a PS4 Pro ? It's recommended to get the best out of PSVR
Still want one. However I have been out off by the poor resolution and connected cable etc.
I have a pro but think I will wait it out.

Wireless High resolution VR isn't happening for a long time. Get it now and enjoy what it is today!
Wasn't that fussed about VR so glad I waited. Rude not to buy the V2 at this price with a well rated game game. Should be good fun with the fam at Christmas

It's one cable, not even especially thick. Don't let that stop you getting it.
