Disappointing that invisible people are voting cold without describing why. Heat added for the best price on offer at the moment.

it is strange -I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest you can get it for at the moment....unless someone knows otherwise??

Don't get gameseek take money in order? That's a bit commitment till October

ten pounds saved is still good

That depends on your level of commitment

according to the faqs section, they do take payment in advance unfortunately

Shame the 5% JEMEL code doesn't work anymore

glad I read your post, I was going to cancel my amazon order and pre order this, but taking the payment in advance is a no no for me.. least with amazon I got plenty of time to save up.. but heat for it been the cheapest at the mo

just be aware of this, they take your money and they have stock (when everywhere else is sold out!) don't be surprised if your order gets cancelled nearer release date

Cold! Dammit, I want to put down £100 deposit to secure mine and Gameseek just don't give you that option, cold as cold can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that's why it would be cold maybe. They take money in advance. What about cancelling preorder like that? It will go cheaper before release day so there's no point to order yet imo

anyone had a go at one yet or pre ordering on a whim? I dont want to waste money like I did on Kinect!!

Hot. cheapest around. its just xboxers voting cold out of jealousy op.

ooo I had not even heard of this

Plus it might drop in price after release. We've heard all those people moaning about paying day one prices for PS4s and XB1s

I'm holding out on Vr until I can try them all out beforehand. I would hate to buy it then find out it makes me feel sick as a parrot after 5 mins use.

Is Amazon the only place that doesn't take payment up front?

$400 list / 1.44 =£277
£277 x 1.2 = £333

So this is very close to list price. Have some heat for cheapest around and this is a good price for what you are getting but I suspect it will not look very impresive. Its only 1080p after all, try putting your face so close to your tv so that all you can see is tv and you will see pixels.

I'm kinda surprised the ps4 can support VR. My desktop barely has the power for it.

Heat for the price, but that's a huge amount of money for a device that's only compatible with ps4. I think I'll wait and see if a universal option appears.

Holy crap, someone looked at the price in dollars and actually bothered to include VAT rather than complaining that Americans get it 20% cheaper.

Will it work on Xbox one?

how can anyone vote either way?
this type of product has to actually be used before you can decide if it's any good or not, you can exactly see from a picture or a YouTube video properly.
it may be a lower price than other places, but if it's crap then it's still an expensive pile of junk.....

its 1080p.....on a much smaller screen.......
stick your face close to your tv, then your phone......phone doesn't look at all pixelly.

argument invalid I'm afraid

its an all or nothing kind of device, either devs need to go all in and utilise this or it becomes an expensive gimmick

cold cos although the cheapest I dont justify paying more for this than an actual PS4.

I'll stick with my Virtual Boy thanks

LOL you have a 5 inch tv do you?

I've added heat for the price, but I wouldn't be prepared to pay upfront.

Off the top of my head.. Amazon, Game online, ShopTo, Zavvi.. None of these charge upfront.

That is not correct, its hard to put your face so close to your phone that it will fill your view without lenses because your eyes cannot focus on something so close to your face. That is why the VR headsets must have lenses.

But you can do it to your TV, it does not matter how big your TV is, there will be a point where you can have your face so close you can only see TV (this is what you want with VR - that you more or less only see screen), and most likely you will see pixels.

erm, i think they charge first on all orders, i asked a mate of mine as he purchased from there before and they charge straight away before dispatch, so be wary!

I had a Hmz - T3 and that was 720P Oled in front of my face. Still couldn't see pixelation. Though it got fogged up and i had trouble with light blocking. Though i nabbed a preorder with 5% NUS bringing it in line with this offer.
