Can anyone suggest an arcade/party style 'pick up and play' game that can be played in short burts? I just find PSVR makes me dizzy after a while so I just wanted to try something i can play in short bursts that others would enjoy viewing or participating in.

AstroBot Rescue Mission. Not really a party game, but not boring to watch, could take turns doing a level. It’s not in this sale (but does go on sale regularly). It’s an excellent 3D platformer that uses all the gimmicks only possible with VR. The levels are short, you can get through one in about 10/15 mins.

Great variety in levels and some of the best visuals I’ve seen in PSVR, so smooth. Highly recommend it.

What’s worth buying ?

Tetris Effect, Job Simulator, Batman, Dirt Rally, Moss, Pinball FX2 VR, Rez Infinite, Statik, Skyrim, Superhot, Thumper and Ultrawings are very good.

I've had my eye on In Death, Table of Tales and The Invisible Hours so I might pick one of those up today.

I never thought I would be “that guy” but I’m about to.. VR isn’t for little kids, especially not 5 yr olds. That’s just stupid, their brains aren’t even nearly developed yet. It can damage their optic nerves and cerebral cortex also potentially cause their brains to develop pathways incorrectly. Look at the effect it can have on fully grown adults. Severe eye strain and prolonged sickness.

Genuinely don't think there'll ever be a discount on Beat Sabre as it sells so well at full whack.
Dirt Rally is a bargain and Robinson The Journey is decent for the price, but ideally (like most PSVR games to be fair) needs the PS4 Pro.
Just bought table of tales. Thanks op... still waiting for beat sabre

Hot stuff Bubaman!!

Defo recommend Tetris Effect, Thumper, Superhot and Rez Infinite.

If you're waiting for Beat Saber then just buy it, if it's not in this sale then it's probably not going to be on sale for a long time.
It is awfully good too, you won't regret paying full price for it when you get it going.

Definitely getting Rez at that price, I hear Sprint Vector is a good shout also!

Rez
So many games on my wishlist are discounted, which is both good and bad . Thanks for the post!
Surgeon Simulator? I need to Youtube that and see if I could change professions lol

For me, that would be Beat Saber (as long as you have a pair of Move controllers)

It's on sale for another week too (£15.99 / PS+ £12.49)
store.playstation.com/en-…0EU
Also there is Firewall Zero Hour £24.99 top £12.99:

There's no better online multiplayer shooter on PlayStation VR than Firewall Zero Hour. Actually, there's no better online multiplayer game on PlayStation VR, period. Think of it like Rainbow Six Siege with less wall-exploding and way more feeling like you're actually there. Military buffs will squeal with tactical delight as they sight down their authentic-looking firearms with a PSVR Aim Controller while more casual players can do just fine with a good old DualShock 4. Either way, you'll get to enjoy tense, tactical matches that encourages communication and teamplay.

Do you have Move controllers? If so, the Rise of Jumbotron mini-game within Rec Room is a great 30 minute blast. Its free as well.

I played Firewall a lot on release but started to quickly find it repetitive. Unless you're a sucker for league scores/points/credits etc, it doesn't have good longevity. Its insane how seriously people get as well, acting all military like they've been humping Ant Middleton's leg or something, barking commands and suggestions to everyone. As if they aren't just standing in their living rooms looking like a dork like the rest of us. Mostly though its just far too stop-starty, wait in the lobby, few minutes of play, wait in the lobby, over and over.

If PSVR makes you dizzy then Astro Bot isn't for you. It makes me feel dog-sick after 5 minutes. It's a shame because it looks amazing, it's just the on-rails movement that triggers me, if it was teleport style I'd be totally fine, but because it physically moves in 3D space it's a one way ticket to Chunder City.

Beat Sabre, Everybody's Golf VR, Skyrim VR, Fruit Ninja are the best ones for me in my collection.

It's funny, I have the opposite problem, I can use teleport for hours without any sickness at all, but as soon as a game starts moving you around (Astro Bot, Resident Evil 7) I can't last more than 5 minutes.
