That looks like a great deal. If Game can sell at this price I'm sure others can and at a lower price too.

Edit. I guess this is just the standard GT bundle with RE added in saving 17 quid (nowtv can do one). Still good though as RE is pretty much a must buy for VR owners

Now TV pas adds negligible value but the rest of package is ok price

Really wish this was the new version

Can see this going alot cheaper for black Friday.

Just a shame the current PSVR feels unfinished and still comes with a lot of motion sickness issues...... I can barely use it for more than 20 minutes without getting the spins,
probably gonna sell mine on and stick with VIVE for now

yup.... never had issues with the VIVE, it just seems to run a lot smoother, but serious motion sickness everytime on psvr.
might just be me?

Its a strange one you cant be okay with one and not the other, if you feel motion sickness with the PSVR you should feel the same way with the VIVE.

not really, The VIVE is powered from PC so optimised better, faster processor / GPU / framerates etc..... depending on pc spec obviously.
maybe in a year or 2 Consoles might have enough power to run VR efficiently, but for me right now even with PS4 pro it's still not quite there...... or maybe i just have a weak stomach, everyones different hey

Being powered by PC doesn't automatically mean its optimised. Plus the PSVR has a higher framerate capacity of 120hz while the Vive only has 90hz. The faster processor/GPU (assuming you run a gaming rig thats better than the PS4) will only make sure you're hitting that 90hz while PS4 games have been constantly being optimised so that more modern games are running at 90fps / 120fps. Sure the graphics won't be as good but I wouldn't think that would be the cause for motion sickness

doesnt have to do with anything in terms of pc or ps4 if you are okay with virtual reality on VIVE should be no problem on the psvr

hey what can i say?
Yes my PC is of a decent spec, but that's not important. Maybe i'm just not compatible with PSVR.... but like i said earlier, i'll just stick with the vive as I've never had any motion sickness with it.
even with PC virtual reality isn't perfect, and probably won't be for a long time yet.... but for me, and PSVR, the VIVE is a much smoother and better experience.
I'm not here to wave my dick around...... just commenting that the PSVR isn't for me.

Great price

I expect this will fall further when the next version CUH-ZVR2 is released. However for me the resolution is far too poor.

Ken904110 h, 54 m ago

you cant use PSVR but can use VIVE?

I have trouble with the gear vr on my phone but I did a long demo on the vive and has no issues. I can't figure out the problem.
I don't own a vive or psvr. Wish I could afford ps4 and all the gubbins!

"A hardware update to PlayStation VR is being prepared. The new version, model number CUH-ZVR2, features an updated design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset and a slimmer, streamlined connection cable.

There’s also an updated Processor Unit that supports HDR pass through, enabling users to enjoy HDR-compatible PS4 content on a TV without having to disconnect the Processor Unit in between the TV and the PS4 system."

This is what I've been waiting for.

When the new model becomes available in the UK, I think I'll finally give it a go.

Thanks to the OP for taking the time to post this deal. However, I'd urge everyone to wait for the updated model ...

I am not sure it is that simple. Just been reading about Virtual Reality sickness. Location, posture, headset and lots of other factors determine VR sickness.

The type of game can massively induce it as well with Rigs and Cars VR being worst offenders.

I like the vive, but it's annoying having to shout VIVE all the time

I suspect from that list it may be the titles you have played rather than the headset itself. But I'm not trying to change your mind. Sounds like you're done.

When you play on a phone your movement isn't tracked externally, it just uses gyroscopes which aren't very accurate, means the image doesn't move with you in the same way. That makes the most hardened of VR users chunder.

I'm sure you'd be fine with PSVR too.

For me it's just the headset issue, have played the same games, ie Driveclub, Eve Valkarie, on both headsets but only had motion sickness on one of them..... what can you do hey?

must just be me and my delicate little tummy *bleuuurrp*

Been picking up bits second hand for xmas for 13 yr old so far have the vr, camera, stand and batman game what else do I need please and good games

so, i picked up a psvr yesterday with 2 motion controllers, v2 camera, vr worlds and until dawn rish of blood and first impressions is "holy moly".
the immersion of london heist and until dawn combined with the on point movement of the vr controllers is absolutely phenomenal, graphics are good considering resolution is low compared to current non vr games and motion sickness is minimal for me.

comfort is spot on with absolutely no discomfort at all, my only grip is light seeps in under the vr headset by the nose area and from the side as i have a narrow shaped head so prefer to play it in the dark.

playing non vr games on the headset is enjoyable due to the mahooooosive screen in which you have in front of you, combine this with some downloaded 3d movies and you have a great home cinema setup.

started playing resident evil 7 in vr today and gotta admit that visualy its pretty poor but in terms of immersion and scaryness its absolutely insane. ive categorically "s**t" my pants on numerous occasions and look forward to the evolution of vr gaming over the next 5 years as we need roughly 8k resolution in vr to truly enjoy it without visual restrictions.

brilliant effort for a first gen vr experience.

Does the PSVR suffer on a basic PS4 as opposed to a Pro? Should I invest in a Pro before PSVR?

Pretty sure any motion sickness issues are with the end user no? unless i'm mistaken and there is a motion sickness patch coming soon.

Sony really needed to roll out a trial scheme so more people could get a feel for it.
