Thank you
Nice price for a nice Pulsar
Cracking deal.
I had a Pulsar. Strap broke within a year and the shop wouldn't replace it. So now I don't buy Pulsar watches and I don't shop at Ernest Jones! I'm petty like that.
Brilliant find. Shame I'm skint

Have you got glaucoma?
Pure curiosity..... Which brand would the watch buffs say is better, as a rule: Pulsar or Accurist?

As a Seiko badge, I would have thought it would be Pulsar, but interested to learn.
Chronograph fiction or functional?

Pulsar..... Its made in a Seiko factory with Seiko movement.
Accurist are just fashion watches made in an unknown factory somewhere in the far east.

It may fit, but i would assume likely it wont. I have a 7.5" wrist and usually have to take two or three links out of most bracelets.
The bracelet is no big deal on this watch anyway, its the usual cheap folded links/endlinks. I always change these types of bracelets, either leather, nato or aftermarket bracelet.

I've used them quite a few times as well. No issues whatsoever.

I've been changing batteries and sizing or changing straps for years, but i've never bought one of those watch tool sets.
I've found i can do everything i need to with just a small precision screwdriver set and needle nose pliers. I have also used a paperclip, held in the pliers, to push through bracelet pins.
Probably better off with proper tools, but as i've managed fine without them i've not bothered buying one. Loads of cheap sets around, but i wouldn't trust them.

The worst fiddly bracelets to resize are the Seiko ones with a pin & collar system, but these only come on more expensive watches like their auto's.
The standard cheaper bracelets with folded links are dead easy to resize.

What a tough life we live.
Apart from this watch being the usual Seiko quality, another plus point is the battery it uses. It uses one of the larger, higher mAh button cells, SR44. I'd expect around 3 or 4 years from this battery in Silver Oxide.
It annoys me when watches use the small, low mAh button cells and you have to change it every year or two.
Thanks, bought one
Bought from 7dayshop years ago without an issue.

I bought the leather strap version in 2012 from Argos for £38 and it was usually twice as much. The metal version was double that.

Like Seiko, my leather strap wore out and £12 later I had an identical one put on. The watch went on!

Scratch resistant but I passed it on to my Dad and he still has it. Always had compliments.

Nice one OP!

I always think, if they change the name from "pulsar" to another top brand, this watch would sell for £300
