Are these good eating pumpkins or are they just for carving? Apparently carving pumpkins aren’t good for eating so they sell culinary pumpkins? I don’t know,

Not sure of the difference really, but I assume if you buy the smaller ones they would be better for eating

M&S are selling pumpkins quite cheap that are edible. If it says carving pumpkin then not for consumption.

You can eat carving pumpkins no problem, it's just that they tend to be a little disappointing in the eating.

I think they're fine to eat when i have one to carve i scrape and cut out as much of the pumpkin as i can and blitz it up in a soup with stock and cream and toast the seeds
