best teabags you can get in a supermarket. hot

Love a bit of Punj X) great deal.

Best teabags around. The branding is heavy on the Thompsons nowadays, I think Punjana name was putting people off. It's an assam blend with some Kenyan leaves.

I find it hard to get these in the shops nowadays though

Good tea, not great tea but a good deal better than cheapie supermarket stuff

are these any good compared to Yorkshire teabags?

A mate at work converted from Yorkshire tea to Punjana. Better taste and strength

I might give them a go..cheers

Didn't realise these are available outside Northern Ireland, have to give the local Morrison's a visit.

Nice tea

fab cup of tea really good flavour. A favourite in our house. Heat added

What's the bitterness like? I find Tetley tasteless and too 'round'. I got a load cheap from Tesco but have to use two bags for one cup. Twinings Everyday has a slight perfume to it and I can't stand that. Pg Tips is what I normally have and stew it in the pot for ages. Co-op fair trade leaves are good but there isn't one near me.

Lovely cuppa, bought a few packs of these the other week, great price

PG TIPS FTW !

this is the only tea i buy now, heat added !

Friends having a good chat here!

All the punjana lovers need to visit Northern Ireland, supermarkets here have several different blends of the punjana brand, including Titanic Tea, which goes down well. Better still you can buy online punjana.com/shop/ but it will cost a premium.

Punjana is superb compared to the stuff from Tetley, PG Tips, Typhoo etc. Yorkshire Tea is better, for sure, but any tea aficionado would still be sniffy about it. Punjana they would class as the best of the lot. At this price, it's a bargain!

What about vs Yorkshire Gold?

My lady picked some up today - back up to 1.99.

Tesco sent us a press release recently, saying that its Finest tea bags are actually Punjana. I'm not sure though if that only applies to Northern Ireland though.

It was all part of its 'buy local' campaign.
