"On Friday 20th January 2023, registered Costa Club members who scan the app after purchasing any drink from Costa Coffee’s current menu via Click & Collect, in participating stores or at a Costa Express machine will receive a digital voucher for a free hot drink that can be redeemed from the following day (Saturday 21st January until Thursday 26th January 2023 inclusive) at a participating Costa Coffee store. Each customer is entitled to 1 voucher on this promotion.

The reward can only be redeemed at participating Costa Coffee stores in Great Britain and can only be used on the following products – any Hot coffee, Tea or Hot chocolate. Qualifying purchases must be made at participating stores and/or Costa Express self-service coffee machines on Friday 20th January 2023. a. The reward can be redeemed from Saturday 21st January until Thursday 26th January 2023 inclusive This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount, including any Free Drink reward in your app. b. The reward cannot be redeemed at Costa Express self-service coffee machines or Proud to Serve Outlets or via Delivery."

    Bit late, but... Any topcashback users, snap and save.. free coffee today only. Anywhere pretty much. Not seen a deal on here, but someone not lazy can create. You'll need to ask for a receipt. £3.50 max refund

    The Costa Express machines are great, fresh milk and real beans 🫘, smaller or usually absolutely no queue! A lot cheaper than Costa itself, + 10% discount at Shell Petrol Stations with their free app. + you can collect beans from the machine and then trade them in at an actual Costa cafe. (edited)

    Is this still working if you buy it as part of a meal deal from Tesco or Co-op?

    I would imagine it would work in the coop as long as you scan your phone at the machine. As the till isn’t connected to the Costa machine we put Costa in the till manually. So there’s no way of Costa knowing how you paid

    be careful not to combine with another deal. I ordered a coffee with some toast and didn't get the free drink because the toast was cheaper due to another promo they have... bit of a joke

    It doesn’t work like that; the offer of cheap toast stays as does the drink trigger for a free one. This is exactly what I only buy from Costa. If you use your free drink from the offer, your toast reverts to full price.

    Not imho. To me the worst tasting coffee is from Nero. Disgustingly bitter no matter which type of drink you but. It tastes like the said tramp has been tramping over your chips.

    Just remember when you buy a drink to do so on a new account you created from a referral on your existing account. That way you'll get 2 free drinks and 5 gold beans on your origional account (edited)

    I don't understand, when or why do you scan the app after click and collect? Don't you order it through the app then pick up the drink and leave?

    I think it does add it automatically if you order via the app, however you do need to scan the QR code in the app if you use an express machine in a shop.

    Been a while since i made use of an offer like this from costa (buy 1 and get 1 free to use within a week). Last time it didn't work and i had to faff with tech support.
    Noticed this offer has been on again since then - does it actually work now?

    Nope you need to purchase a drink, as it says in the T&C's.
    They also won't allow you to use a free drink together with the bacon roll for £1.99 offer.
