I was in my local Curry's in Harlow and I came across this. I know it is probably end of line as it is £39.97 and it might be hard to find, but I thought it was worth posting.
It is brand new, not returned or ex-display and comes with the 2 year warranty from pure, so worth a look next time your in Currys.

Cheers Thunderbolt and Tigers66 for all the extra info, I was away from the PC and was going to add it when I got back, Thanks again.

Pity this isn't online too.
I would have loved another one of these for daughter no 2. Daughter no 1 loves hers.

The one you are looking at is a different model, its the cd version not the dock version. The one that I picked up is not on the website, instore only.

Ah, sorry, the dock one is a better system.

Had one of these for a while now - Absolutely brilliant bit of kit.
Has a nice big snooze button which is my favourite bit!

Avoid Pure. I've had 3 items & all went wrong, 'beyond repair' as pure put it. I was able to buy an Elan 2 for £65-00 because of my previous problems. I've only had it one day & sometimes it comes on sometimes it won't unless you wait & try again. When you turn it on with the headphones plugged in the speaker makes a loud clunk & sometimes a brief audio of the programme before the headphones kick in, makes it useless for me as it would wake up my wife. This is the only radio I've had that does this. You'll see my & others comments about pure HERE. Now I'm losing more money as pure will take the Elan 2 back back but I have to pay postage. NEVER AGAIN.

i bought 3 pure dabs about 4 years ago and they were ex display models , a pocket size one which is used everday and still works fine a full size one with no battery that gets used every day and works fine, but the midi sized one that wasnt used as regular packed up after about a year, hot from me i love my pure's but every time a pure pops up on here theres someone with a bad story!

can anyone confirm if this is compatible with iPhone 4?

ideally it would be great if you can dock the iphone 4 with its case (incase).

I have one of these and paid much more - they are really good. Bargain!

Has anyone managed to track this offer down outside Harlow? Curry's national call centre don't have the offer and struggling to get any local stores on the phone.

Great buy if I can find one!

It isnt compatible with iphone 4 unfortunately
- 3G and 3Gs only!!- unless somebody can tell me a way around it (which would be great)

None at my local store in Farnborough. Also checked my local Asda for the £50 deal. None of those either :-(

Does this work as a laptop speaker via the aux input or headphone socket? I have a Bose dock but that has no aux input and I need so speakers for a party

What is the output wattage?

Nonsense, it works fine with an iphone 4 and you can dock and control it through the remote as normal. Great device, almost bought one at Xmas new for around £80 before turning to ebay

not doubting you but this is on the product description on the Pure website "Not suitable for use with a USB hub or for charging items which draw more than 500mA of current (such as an iPhone 4 or iPad)"- it put me off getting an iPhone 4 tbh- does it charge your iPHone 4 as well as play on it?
