Anyone has had experience of these touch sensitive controls on the Evoke? I am dubious about the longevity of these touch sensitive stuff as they get touchy.

Im still looking for help on the evoke marshall - sorry to thread highjack......

Why is this being voted cold?! This is £150 in the shops!! MADNESS!!!

As for the touch controls, mine is on the way so I'll let you know but my friend recently bought one and she's totally in love with it. No complaints about the touch sensitive controls, quite the opposite in fact!!

Shima - not seen that Marshall edition of the Pure Evoke for less than £100. Sorry.

This one got the whathifi product of the year 2008 award. ]http//wh…ow/ I think people think that the starting price is £150 RRP so on this forum people expect a bigger discount before they buy. (Hence why they vote cold now?) I believe most people believe the sweet point is between £50 to £100.

Most people in the market on this forum had in the past year bought the ones for about £50 . Logik, Tevion , Soundbridge, BT internet radio..so they have expectation of a sub £100 internet radio.

Top radio streaming goodness. Had my eye on this at Amazon for a while; it's been this price all that time. Granted it's below RRP and below the prices of most online stores, but it's Amazon, so you would expect it to be. It can be found cheaper simply by doing a shopping search on Google, so voted cold.

£124.78 at comet (can be collected from store) using the "DAB15" code
