Isn't it cheaper to just connect your smartphone and listen to internet radio?
High quality and DAB don't belong in the same sentence.....
DAB needs to die. The sound quality is worse than a low quality internet stream. You'll find streams that are 64kbps and in mono.

If you can, just connect your phone and use Android Auto/Assistant for Driving. You'll get better coverage, and better sound.
I connect my phone to do the same thing. But I’d still prefer this. It would be far safer to change the station, stream music etc using the screen and bezel. Parrot products are great quality with good user interface too

I don't know if theyve improved but I had the old version before I bought a car with a Dab radio, wasnt very good, tried a few different aerials and positions, too many dead spots, much better now and android auto is a blessing.

Some people might not have unlimited internet and bluetooth in their car. But yeah its much cheaper but if you have both.
Can anyone recommend one like this a bit cheaper (that allows to listen audio on car speakers)?
I don't really need the features of this over the £15-£20 ones but does anyone know if the sound quality is better? That is, would it be better at transmitting locally on FM?

Not for all cars
Does anyone knows similar DAB device with an option to connect two active BT sources with different profiles - ( HSP + A2DP ) ?.
I had one of these and the signal dropped all the time. I replaced it with a nextbase one off amazon for £32 and is much better model no is 350bt
DAB isn't that like as popular as minidisc?

I'd say DAB gives variety, choice and coverage even if the quality isn't great.

Batteries are required for the wireless control unit - the part with the screen. The aerial and the box that processes everything is plugged in.

Bought one at this price. Seems too good to be true and used PayPal, but hopefully won't need to open a dispute.

It looks the same. But the seller has a 100% positive feedback and they are just selling this product. I was about to try it but it looks like a scam to me.

Looks dodgy to me as well, no sales in last year and starts selling lots of these way cheaper than going rate :/
I would advise against any DAB in a car from my experience, too many dead spots.

My car is old and has no way of connecting a phone - no socket or bluetooth, so something like this could be helpful

I quite liked mine, good sound, started Bluetooth streaming where it left off. Only thing was that song title etc only stayed on for about 10 seconds max. Apparently to save the battery.
And yes,I'm a bit anal 😳 about things like that
Alarm bells ringing on that profile.
only recent feedback, three positives all on The same day me so g he bought three cheap items in a row. Not the profile of a seller with lots of stock
Great bit of kit but it's not very good for iPhone users. I had mine and had to get a friend with an Android phone to update the firmware as you can't do that on an iPhone. Also for some reason the app then started to crash if ever I wanted to listen to Spotify meaning it only worked as a DAB and nothing else. I ended up buying a Bluetooth receiver for the car at £25 and it infinitely easier and better, plus there's so many more tailored radio options on the tunein app than the dab. I'd give it a swerve.

Have you listened to R5 Live or Talksport on AM? As poor as DAB is, it is infinitely better than AM.

You are assuming that every car has a unit capable of doing that. My camper doesn't and I'm not spoiling the original look to fit a modern set up. This sort of thing would be ideal as I'm limited to FM and tapes and no hands free.
There's a seller listing these at £16.98, has sold 78 in the last hour - nothing else for sale just these and seems to have an awful lot of them ! Has no history of selling anything remotely like these - I suspect a scam, be careful!!

Depends on your data and phone signal and adjusting this while on the move is safe than using your phone while driving.
I’m guessing this is for older cars that don’t have Bluetooth. It’s cheaper to get an FM transmitter off eBay for £10 & connect your phone.

They're not assuming anything. Bluetooth to fm transmitter can be had for 10 quid on amazon. You're the one making assumptions about an aux input
Totally redundant. Using ten pound Bluetooth fm transmitter with android auto, Spotify and TuneIn apps. I can voice command "play..." albums, artists, radio stations and news flash briefings on-demand and hands free. Save your money and get a decent data plan.
I've have a couple of the Pure 300di's and its a brillaint peice of kit. DAB is near flawless, does have a signal 'blip' every so often for a sec, but 99% never does - better option for those who need a wired/charged setup. only uses aux mind/no bluetooth

Get a small FM transmitter, plug it into your phone and play through FM radio fitted to your vehicle
