First time I have seen price reduction on these and Free delivery with PRIME.These units upgrade your cars audio to DAB and allow you to listen to music via Bluetooth, plus loads of other features. My cars Bluetooth is basic phone only so this is ideal. Excellent reviews in the press and a reliable British company. Still £129 at Halfords.
Amazon also have the 600 version at £128 if you need the Bluetooth phone as well.
3 years warranty cover provided so do not be tempted by Amazons own warranty cover.

I use an old smartphone, it does the same and way way more.

How'd you get dab on your smart phone?

a sim and a data plan... that’d be much more expensive than this....

Although it would probably be more reliable than dab in a car

Rubbish.
That's like saying it costs thousands of Pounds to buy a bag of crisps in Tesco because to get there you have to buy a car, tax it , insure it, etc

We have an old phone in the car to provide a wifi hotspot for its occupants.
The marginal cost of using it for DAB is zero.

I use a cheap bush personal dab radio plugged into the aux socket and powered by the USB input on my car radio. Works like a dream. Cost about £25

Its not as good as the built in dab in my wife's car but it does the job. Can drop out now and again but I am happy to have DAB radio in my crappy 98 Nissan Micra!
I have it jammed between the dash and windscreen and I took the battery out of the unit to avoid overcharging it (and the risk from the sun)

Nice..might give it a go...

Def remove the battery from the dab unit once you know it works OK though. The sun through the glass made it get hot and bulge! The last thing you need is a lithium ion battery fire in your car!
Mine still works fine without the built in battery in it.

Just bought one. I need Radio X in my pickup

Got this as a xmas present last year fantastic .halfords fitted it as part of the deal .The handsfree works well (got rid of my parrot one ) radio reception great

I have no doubt there are plenty of cheaper "make do" options ,but for convenience, appearance etc the Pure Highway has got to be better. Also, having your Smartphone plugged in, there is the temptation or even necessity of actually using the phone whilst driving(re tuning etc) and personally I would never use my phone whilst driving. The Pure kit has the wireless controller that is much safer and actually legal.

I had an email from Pure a week ago telling me that on 1st Dec there'd be reductions on the Pure 400 and 600 car DAB adapters. The links in that email went straight to the Halfords site. Where the prices remain at their usual high level, no such offers.

My email to Pure quoting said offer and asking where is ithas so far gone unanswered.

Oh and a reminder, the Pure 400 is the one without the handsfree phone function

You can use the steering wheel to change channels on most cars so no need to look away from the road in front of you (I’m not voting as I don’t know how good a deal this is but there are cheaper as good options available) ...well unless you are glancing in one of your mirrors(angel)

Still use my older one as it has ReVu pause etc

Not if you click below on the "NEW FROM" link, and choose Amazon, still shows as £94.48, although will have to wait for stock to arrive so possibly not before Christmas

Big fan of this. I have the alpine branded one. Great for handsfree bluetooth, reliable dab, siri, the 'go' feature for shazam is great, and answering phone calls etc all works nicely. Easy enough to install tidy, too.

The Highway 600, which has added hands-free calling, is now only £109 at Halfords! halfords.com/tec…600

You can also purchase the Highway 400 from Halfords for £99.
