Not letting me log on

What's 5000 worth?

It's asking for a card number-payment card?

What's 5000 worth?

Considering The Cliff Richard Fabulous Songbook is 100,000 points I would guess 5,000 points is worth about 0.00000001p

A breath of fresh air or in HMV's case a fart. I had 200k+ of points which would have given me about £40 in the past to spend at HMV but the cheeky buggers took their site down. I have since stopped shopping at HMV, the cheating b*&^%$&* they will follow the Comet, Zavvi/ Virgin Megastores and all the previous rip off merchants

Much the same worth as Cliff Richard, then.

If you contact them they will give you any lost points back - they need support to survive = not good for competition if all these shops go!

"If you have a card, please enter your card number." - ffs it says 'if' but won't let you proceed without it. If I did have a card number, I have no idea what it was. But I clear have an account because I reset the password. That should be good enough. Pain in the ****.

dude they have never been any competition that is the whole reason they are going under, even with the high rent they have to pay for their stores - they should rely on volume sales now to compete with the likes of Amazon

Heat for bringing this to our attention.

However, it is a shame that there are so few HMV stores left, and their prices are so sky high ! So I probably won't ever shop there again

I saw a small one re-open recently, right opposite a Game store. HMV had GTA 5 on sale for £46.99 or something, and Game were about £4 cheaper. So why would anyone in their right mind buy it from HMV ?

now come on bikertov everyone knew what hmv stood for i did and for those that don't it is "Higher Margins Verfied" you pay that for some spotty oik with there knowledge and alleged better customer service

hmv soo competitive they decided to put there website back up but not there products says it all really.
for those with balances i suggest you all re-register get your balances back spend them then close your account down then go use amazon.

also a note for competitive sainburys entertainment next year is stopping buying physical product they are going to an on demand model only. I think they have got this one very wrong people still like filling there shelves like me, in my case steelbooks wonder how many people are going to get a bullet after christmas because of some managers decision! but my guess is he will be alright.
Merry christmas.
