I also do not recommend PureVPN after using it for a year. The connection speeds are not the greatest but what's far worse is their App as well as their Website. It is hard to issue problems and the page itself is really underdeveloped that just shows that there is not a lot of investment. They really need to step up. And never forget, a VPN which announces discounts all the time does not scream quality branding as well as security

Been looking for a cheap VPN. Might think about it.

Go for Surf Shark and use Top Cash back site so it will around £10 for 2 years
I got this a few months ago, doesn't work with Netflix. It'll show all the US shows but nothing loads when you select unless things have changed since?

Does this seem a little too good to be true ?? Also looking at a cheap vpn having just got a 4K Firestick, but not sure which.. reviews seem in the main pretty good. Does anyone have an experience of these guys ? Heat added btw as it's certainly a cheap deal!

The PureVPN app for firestick is terrible. One of the reasons I left them
A bargain and tempted but will dig around a bit more. Thanks op.

Hi @Smadmad i was planning to buy this for firestick, is it not reliable what kind of issues we face
I left them 2 years ago because they were not working with Netflix, good to know that now they are.

Do they record your traffic, do they limit speed, and where are they based ?

Surf Shark should be the choice for Fire stick as it has very good App for it. Also go through Top Cash Back to get the cash back so two year it will work around £10

I just doesn't work. Constant freezing. Connect to a server and it doesn't serve the purpose I need a VPN for. Whether it be for location purposes or blocked content it doesn't work. Surfshark works
Much better.
PureVPN works well if it's used through a router
I tried Unlocator recently,it is good for blocked content.
I am surprised so many people are complaining. It has a dedicated app for Android TV box and works perfectly on my both Nvidia Shield Android TV boxes

It even has a dedicated stream apps built in such as Netflix US, Hulu, HBO, BT Sport UK, iPlayer etc

It unlocks them all, as Netflix ridiculously cut bitrate for UK customers since March, I have been using Netflix US since then and it unblocks it every time and I get the proper bitrate.

Same with Hulu that perfectly works as well. The only one I have problem with is Amazon Prime US unfortunately Amazon detects the VPN on Android devices, as it is notoriously difficult to break.

However, when I use the laptop with Pure VPN add on Chrome with Hulu connection I can even use Amazon Prime US which has a much better catalogue than UK.

Highly recommended

I'm sure it's the Netflix US option unlocked and it didn't work. I might try again, Disney+ on VPN is a defo no no. I always get an error and even after disabling VPN it logs me out and wants me to log back into Disney+

What router is it?
It’s sagemcom router from talktalk
Slow as molasses. Abysmal android app that. Waste of money. It also has security concerns, Google em. Not worth it even if it was free.
My accounts due to expire in a few weeks, tried getting this deal to see if it would extend my current sub but it just errors when attempting to pay so I guess its for new accounts only.

Had this VPN for 3 years now. Got one of the super cheap 5 year Black Friday deals. I only use it casually. For me it works fine. Large choice of servers, allows P2P, I get speeds of around 60 Mbit/s. The FireTV app is very poor and only allows a limited amount of servers but it does the job.
I use it and am satisfied; good data rates and flexible. At first the chrome app didn't work but they sorted it and now it's no slower than my unvpned connection.
Whats the best Vpn to use with Virgin Media?

Not sure what u mean ? If you mean how do they compare. There's really no comparison. It's expensive for a reason. Very fast, nice apps. It's worth the extra money.

I've never used Nord so can't comment really only ever used pure and express. Pure is really slow and half the time on a firestick doesn't even connect.

And they had issue with FBI
Anyone tried this with DAZN?
I'd recommend Vypr VPN or Express VPN. It's worth paying extra.

Nope on my ax88u it doesn't work with anything other than torrents Netflix still doesn't work as of 2 weeks ago and that's having tried every openvpn file they offer, also majority of the servers run @ 1 - 10Mbps so even if Netflix worked it would be HD at best. Has anyone got a VPN that works with Netflix (I'm guessing Express and Nord will be the ones) but I'm open to suggestions

Esp for smart tv
dave.richardsonskV24/06/2020 19:29

VPN for smart TV to.watch netflix US

Thanks but I'm after a VPN that offers the openvpn files to put in my router, that why I can assign the Ip's to it and just unblock all apps on say my Apple TV and Android TV at the same time and not worry about launching an app on the device.

Just looked at esp, isn't that IPtv and not a VPN?
