[PureVPN 88% Off] Black Friday VPN Deal

30
Found 23rd Nov
£0.86/month for 5 years at PureVPN for the next week. This is a lifetime price which means it renews at the same price every 5 years for life. £0.86/month seems like a good deal.

If you don't want to commit that long, it's also £5.97/month for 6-months

PureVPN has good reviews and they also have the 3rd spot among the best VPN Providers on PCMag

How do these work does your computer need an app

Excuse my ignorance, but is this the same as keeping your ip private?

This is very good. Been using it over a year and no complaints.

Scratch that I've used the lovely Internet to find out!!

You could put it that way. You can also make it look like your computer is in another country unlocking abilities to use usa Netflix or BBC iplayer when you're abroad.

You can get windscribe pro lifetime for £30

What is this used for and do u have to log in on all ur devices each time

Never get a lifetime subscription. Usually not very good and not a good business model to keep afloat

This review suggests they disclose user information uk.pcmag.com/pur…vpn

Works good for me. No issues

If you are super concerned about privacy than don't get this. They were accused of releasing IP details of a member that was than prosecuted. Google it.

Great deals with TorVPN or NORDVPN.

So you definitely wouldn't recommend it for use with Kodi

Cheaper at Stacksocial. $54 (USD) - Lifetime license....... You can also sign-up for 10% off (newsletter subscription)

Good for the man in the street.
Worked a treat whenever abroard to watch iPlayer etc.

you'll regret this. read the app reviews. you'll be ok for a brief period and then it'll just P you off with its unreliable connection .

Doesn't the free Tor browser come with its own inbuilt VPN, and is free?

Yup - been with them for 2 years now and about to jump ship to NordVPN as I'm sick of PureVPN dropping connection after an hour or so. No matter what the server, or the protocol used, it does it - though sometimes the connection stays up for a day. It used to be far more reliable.

Also, as others have mentioned, it's cheaper to go for the 'lifetime' deal via StackSocial (small print says it's actually for 5 years and you email StackSocial at the end of this period to extend for free). Also note that these prices aren't the ones you pay - when I joined 2 years ago they added on 20% VAT for some reason, so it ended up being $59 for 2 years instead of $49. Dodgy as they're not UK based.

Not for me as I need a reliable VPN. Also not impressed with their recent 'log' incident.

EDIT - it's also a world of pain to cancel, as you have to fill out a cancellation form (which doesn't work for me and won't allow me to enter my username), then it ends up being a support ticket with to-ing and fro-ing of offering me further deals to extend, all of which are worse than this Black Friday special. Finally cancelled it today.

No. The Orbot App does.

But you can't compare Tor with a VPN
