Important. This deal is not a guarantee there will be any stock in the store, so please don’t make a trip you wouldn’t have made otherwise just for this item - we should all limit our time out of our houses to help slow the spread. Please also shop responsibly - don’t stockpile, and consider whether you could help out any vulnerable neighbours or friends.

Saw this before store closing at 10pm and forgot to share! Plenty available and a good size/price.

You could decant into smaller bottles if you're happy doing so. 3466638.jpg3466638-dzetG.jpg3466638.jpg

Difficult to carry soap & water with you when you're out of the house

Your aldis open at this time? You scotts are off your heads

Nationwide, most Aldi’s are now open until 10pm. I go in the last hour, when there’s pretty much just me and the staff in!
Not the greatest shopping experience, but I reckon it’s the safest.
(And they’ve already done the 50% off stickers for the next day!;)
One prefers the luxurious, decadent & extravagant hand sanitiser that Marks & Spencer retail for mere sum of £11.99, infused with saffron & gold leaf

I was going to post this... at my local Aldi tonight 9pm - had loads of it, and a 100ml version too. Sunderland - so looks like a national stock? Maybe?

Completely agree but sometimes it's just not possible. It can be quicker and safer to sanitise.
IMHO there are much better products out there that are much safer and can be used by the whole family. Look for products containing hypochlorous acid. There is an Irish product called Medicare Effigerm which has it in. It's as safe as water and can be used by the whole family. Yes it is expensive, but extremely effective. It doesn't dry your skin out and can be used on babies, used to clean hard surfaces etc etc. Hypochlorous acid is naturally occurring.Very good product.

What's the diffrence between this and a 10% solution of bleach?

It appears Hypochlorous Acid is a bit safer than bleach, otherwise I don't think there's much in it. The efficacy seems to be about the same but that's from limited research, I can't find any studies showing how quickly it inactivates Cov-19.
It's listed in the US list of safe disinfectants, ranging from 1 to 10 minutes contact time to kill, so about the same as alcohol based solutions.

Oh, there was plenty of this hand sanitiser in the Mansfield Aldi yesterday evening too.

Aldi store at Archway had this too, lots of stock of the small version bottles on Sunday. Also losts of small ones in Lidl Kentish town by the tills for a few pennies.

Bleach isnt naturally occurring in the body. Hypochlorous acid mimics the bodies immune system.

Its more than a bit safer, would you really put bleach in any dilution on a baby....

English brands are Natrasan and (animal branded, but same stuff) Leucillin. Top products.

Yep, 10pm closing (ie, Aldi normal weekday opening hours) has been in force for the last few weeks. This is the first time I've spotted hand sanitiser in this store - though they've had hand wash for a while.

For some reason this store used to do 50% reductions and now does 30%

So after touching doors, windows, self checkout machines or shopping trolleys/baskets you just pull out a bottle of soap and a flask of hot water and just rinse your hands off do you? Try thinking before you speak it really helps alot...for some anyway.
Can you drink that extra 10% ??

The problem with a 10% soultion of bleach (with is easy to make from thick or thin
household bleach), is that it degrades in about an hour.
I paid £3.80 for a 100ml in Asda
Asda have the tiny bottles for same price, think someones made a mistake there

I'm saying Asda have mispriced the tiny bottles, noway is 100ml of hand gel nearly 4 quid.

I actually saw that M&S option last night (Wednesday) as I left the Argyle Street store - walked ten minutes up the road and bought the Aldi option instead. £11.50 is a shocking price for 500ml.40820157-58Rmc.jpg

They're guessing that their customers will want something that is more expensive than what the rest of us plebs can afford...
Out of stock in my local Aldi. Gave up and ordered this for tenner free delivery 1000ml duronic.com/pro…ula
Saw lots of Carex Aloe Vera Hand Gel 300ml in Savers (Trongate, Glasgow) this afternoon if you're in the vicinity anytime soon. £3.49 iirc.
Does anyone know if any North or East London stores stock these?
