There is in London
One thing that always gets me is that games like this are free or very cheap, also play well on smart phones and tablets.

For a handheld gaming console, I only wanna play games that you can't play well or are not available on mobile, such as Zelda, splatoon, monster hunter etc.

i couldnt agree more. £20 for this basic looking game is a lot when you compare it to what other systems £20 will get you. but then again this is nintendo and they can do what they want and people will still buy their products. I own a switch and so far the only game i tried that i thought was worth its price was mario odyssey. on the switch i'm wanting to play more advanced games not something that looks like a game i could have ran on my samsung note 4 in 2014
Switch owners are easily pleased when cod and other AAA games are not available
now available on Steam too folks
Ive played a lot of the free demo which has a surprising amount of functionality active. So much in fact that im not sure its worth buying the full game.

At full price I'd probably agree, but it's a slick game and far more polished than the dross you get on Android/iOS.
If you gave it a chance you'd soon realise that touch controls would be totally unsuitable.

Recently bought the Steam version but can see why it's ideally suited to the Switch.

Which games have you tried that you didn't think deserved the asking price? I have spent almost 80 hours in Zelda, 60 in xenoblade 2, can't count splatoon hours and loved mario as you mentioned. Those are just the non ports that I have enjoyed and don't include the ports that I can now enjoy more due to convenience of playing on train and lunch breaks etc. For example Doom and Skyrim which I have played a lot more thanks to portable convenience and can't get same on my Samsung s8.

Switch has had stellar year for games (my opinion) so confused how you only found 1 game worth the price...

I'm sure it's decent. Just not something I'd wanna play on the switch.

I loved Tetris on my og Gameboy but that's when we didn't have other options for mobile gaming.

At the moment my playlist is

PS4 - monster hunter world
Switch - splatoon 2
3ds - monster hunter stories
Mobile - DS emulator (drastic) running a fire emblem game. Also Drop 7 from time to time
Absolutely no stock for miles

Yep I’m so envious of you playing COD while I have to make do with substandard games like Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8...

Guys, don’t feed the troll, seriously.

As for pricing etc for switch games, I’d argue that I’ve spent twice the amount of time playing the games I own on switch due to its versatility than I would have playing them on PS4.

That to me personally makes it better value despite the small increase in price over other versions.

This isn't a Nintendo published game, they don't decide the price.
Not in stock anywhere in the UK

Maybe you should go play them then mate seeing as you're acting like a 10 year old.

Last time I checked the closest store with stock was 443 miles away from me. But then I just checked again and it's available locally. I think I completed the order within 2 mins. No regrets

Thanks for the heads-up! I've also been able to get a copy reserved for mid-next week (Manchester area).
It must have finally received a new print run after being out of stock everywhere for a few months. Stock can now be reserved nationwide for collection in 4-5 days, unexpired.
This should be a tenner
Yep have one reserved to pick in London today
Widely available in the Southampton area now
Just got this at the Gravesend branch today
