Description
Puzzle Quest: Challenge Of The Warlords is a brand new, genre-bending title that ups the ante on traditional puzzle games by incorporating strategy, role-playing elements and a persistent storyline.
Set in the Warlords universe, the game challenges players to save the land of Etheria from evil Lord Bane as gamers engage in battles fought by means of competitive, head-to-head 'match-three' style puzzle games in one of three gameplay modes: Single-player, Instant Action or Multiplayer. Victory will advance a player's customisable hero, magical arsenal, creature companions and more - ultimately rewarding gamers at nearly every turn and deepening their immersion into the richly diverse world. The game's remarkable mix of classic puzzle gameplay and an abundant suite of characters, customisations, spells, companions, tameable monsters and more provides a fresh take on the puzzle genre that offers endless hours of replayability.

This game is awesome, I've been playing it on the DS.

Excellent Price, Super Hot, Heat + Rep added

Looks like a great price - would it be too complicated for a 9 year old?

It might be alright actually. The combat system is a turn based puzzle game, very similar to Zoo Keeper (switching gems and matching 3 or more in a row essentially), and it's relatively simple. But the other aspects (managing weapons/equipment and quests) may be a bit more confusing.

There's a PC demo you can try here.

A good price, but the Wii version has been VERY badly ported from the DS - buy that instead.

71/100 average score on ]metacritic.

Don't buy Puzzlequest! I did and I got addicted and didnt do anything productive for weeks, then I made the mistake of mentioning the game to a few other people and they all got addicted too. This game is far too dangerous.

agreed, i love the DS version (i assume the Xbox arcade version is also decent) but the Wii version is ****.

Maybe suits handhelds more, but still an essential buy

Great price too

Thanks for the reply. Still debating.....

Surely this has got to be a bargain at under a tenner --- Let us know if you have actually played it on the Wii and what you think:santa:

OMG I was so addicted to this on DS. My sister described as "Crack for the DS" as its so addictive!!!!!!!!!!
Think I'll give it a punt - thanks OP

Its now showing as £9.91 but still worth giving it a go in my opinion - lots of heat
