Had one for 5 years and it's only just faded. Worth £1.50!

These are excellent.

Thanks OP - needed an add-on item for something just under £10 and this is something I will actually use which is a real bonus!

"No Leonard, this one's always been for urine."

Does the pre-order an extra item then cancel for free delivery still work?

Ordered, heat!

U can get it from Wilkinson for £1.50 too

Had mine for at least 8 years as it moved with me. Measurement markings are as good as new. Always goes through the dishwasher, isn't scrubbed with a brillo pad.

Cold, as i need to look for another thing to pay £10 and get free del which means i am paying actually £10 for this. Better to get it from wilko.. Thanks anyway

I can see your point, but it doesn't really work like that.

If you don't have a Wilko near you, and you were going to/need to buy something from Amazon anyway to get the free delivery, then this comes out as £1.50, and you're getting a good deal.

If you do have a Wilko near you, and you have the time to go and pick up this jug (assuming they have it in stock), then you can get it there for £1.50 and then that's a good deal.

Either way you'd be getting it for £1.50, but depending on the individual, one of the options will be more suitable to them than the other. You voting this cold because it doesn't suit you, is like someone voting the Wilko deal cold cos they'd have to spend £10 on a train ticket to get to their nearest Wilko and that means they are actually paying £10 for it.

not voting cold or hot - ordered the same item from amazon over a month ago

There's an easy get around I would say but Amazon might be watching and would therefore try and fix the work around. But you can actually get it delivered for free without paying any extra.

£3.75 in Sainsburys

Just ordered thanks op
Bought a rucksack for my son anyway so just added this

Don't one have to:- Dispatched with any qualifying order over £10 ?

If you do a flubit on this you don't need to have it as an add-on item, you can just order it by itself. Plus you save money, they just gave me an offer of £1.38.

The problem with flubit is if they are sourcing the item from direct from Amazon and the item is popular, it will become OOS by the time Flubit get round to ordering it.

Unfortunately though this logic relies on the fact there's going to be a sudden rush on Pyrex jugs at Wilko, which is stretching it a tad.

BarginMargrite

they are in wilko for £1.50 aswell

Yep, purchased mine there

I can't believe this deal (with strings attached conditions from Amazon) has gotten so much heat. I bought one from Wilkinsons last week Friday and thought £1.50 was the correct price (there's no point buying Pyrex at RRP as they always do promotions on them). Had I known this was going to garner so much interest it would've posted it myself.

Just find a preoder, order them together then cancel the preorder, works every time.

Does not even have to be a preorder, find something random for £10 or more then cancel it right away.

Still a bit easier than walking into Amazon and picking one up - which is in fact an impossibility.

Back to £3.49?
Obviously I am late

It's not really worth arguing about, so this'll be my last post on the matter, but for a subset of the population, the first option would have been preferable due to their circumstances, for another subset of the population, the second option would have been preferable due to their circumstances, and then for the rest of the population, neither option justifies getting this deal.

I love the amount of people on here who say "this will be my last post on the matter"....then you get the "razyouup has replied to your comment" notification again. X) I can see it's not worth arguing about...which is of course why you're still arguing about it. >

I think I was quite lucky, I got my order in early.

Got it for £1.32 (not £1.38, mistyped before) delivered, order despatched.
