3447154.jpg”The M2 throws out a sound big enough to match the biggest of TV screens.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ 2019 award-winner.

BMR speakers for a powerful and 180 degree spacious sound
Just like its soundbar kin, the M2 uses BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) drive units. These combine the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers to give a truly powerful sound without distortion. Another advantage is BMR drivers give superb spatial imaging meaning that you can sit anywhere in the room and be immersed by the spacious 180 degree sound.

Built-in subwoofer
Rather than using a separate subwoofer, the M2 has the subwoofer within its main casing. This makes for a neater design and less wiring. Using a dedicated 150mm x 100mm drive unit, plus its own amplifier, the M2 has little trouble in reproducing deep, powerful movie soundtracks.

MoviEQ for cinema excitement
Making the most of action movies, the MoviEQ setting gives increased bass and heightened dynamics for the perfect ‘edge of the seat’ cinema excitement.

Bluetooth music streaming with NFC
As well as making your TV sound great, the M2 also has Bluetooth music streaming. Simply pair your device and stream music from your smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth-equipped laptop or desktop. Stream your music library or use a music streaming service such as Spotify, Apple Music or the iPlayer Radio and the M3 becomes a compact music system. With NFC (Near Field Connection), a simple tap from your smartphone is often all you need to do to connect.

HDMI with ARC and other great connectivity for system flexibility
With HDMI connectivity you can link up the M2 using the connection that gives the best quality and convenience. Thanks to the ARC (Audio Return Channel) you also only need a single HDMI cable between soundbar and TV to hear the sound from the TV's onboard receiver. There are also optical digital and two analogue inputs for other sources such as a set-top box, Blu-ray/DVD and MP3 player. With the analogue inputs you've a choice of 3.5mm mini-jack or RCA phono.

Boost the sound of your TV and smartphone’s sound, with the Q Acoustics M2.

I didn’t like this either, swapped for a beam which is much more superior imo.

The beam is double the price of this though, right?
I got this for £100 and am pretty pleased - much better than TV and doesn’t need much faffing/button mashing unlike the Pioneer AV receiver it replaced. Had some problems though which I think I’ve sorted by replacing the hdmi cable
Also paid £100 for this of ebay, worth it at this price for sure BUT at over £150 would say no personally
Had this yes it's loud but I found there's no real great control of the sound like changing the sound stage like music to Cinema etc or more or less bass or vocal adjustments...in the end sent it back and got a Panasonic one full control of the sound
