”A former Award-winning speaker that’s been improved, they keep Q Acoustics firmly among the cream of the budget speaker crop.”– ‘What Hi-Fi’ – 5 Star review. Tested at £249

Improved cabinet for even lower distortion
At the heart of these revised speakers is a much-improved cabinet. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.

Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cone is light, rigid, and helps give the 3020i’s their deep, punchy sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With power and purity of sound at their heart, the 3020i’s are amongst the most dynamic sounding speakers in their class.

Big sound from a small speaker
With a larger diameter bass cone and increased cabinet volume, the Q Acoustics 3020i offers a more powerful sound than its little brother, the 3010i. Ideal for larger rooms and/or lovers of dance, rock and full orchestral music, the 3020i brings greater dynamic realism, enhancing the feeling of 'being there'. The improved efficiency also ensures these speakers are easier to drive, making them ideal for less powerful amplifiers.

Four finishes to suit your style
With its distinctively designed, rounded cabinets, the 3020i is a stylish speaker. Choose between four different finishes and you can get the look that’s perfect for your home. Choose between Graphite Grey and Carbon Black for a technical look to blend well with your other hi-fi components. Alternatively, Arctic White looks great in modern interiors. Finally, the English Walnut vinyl finish is the ideal complement for both antique and contemporary wooden furniture.

Whatever your taste in music, the Q Acoustic 3020i will suit – just choose the colour and prefer to be dazzled.

I think I'd rather pay the extra £9 for a brand new set with a six year warranty from a bricks and mortar store.

These are the best performing speakers for the money, I have a pair of 3050i as fronts and 2050i as rears, the 3050i still surprise me as how good they are over a year on

The 3030i has just been released. I wonder whether these may go even lower in the next few months...?

Don’t believe the 3030i supersedes the 3020i? It’s the model above in the range, so I expect the pricing to stay the same.

Anyway, voted hot. I paid £299 a fortnight ago for these with the matching stands. Looks and sounds fantastic.
With the 3020s going for 99 at times, are the 3020is twice as good??

Depends what you use then for, for music I'd say worth the additional investment.

If for primarily home cinema the you won't hear much difference, I'd go with 3020s and put more money towards a decent sub.

Graded still comes with a warranty.

But only one year. And you'd have to pay to return them. At least with Richer Sounds you can return them to the shop.

Five, they are not second hand, just graded stock. But the return to the shop is a benefit worth £9, I guess.
Thank you for posting; we have added this to the Highlights section
I have these and have to say great little speakers paired with a Denon D141 from Peter Tyson's for 349.Build quality is superb.Great price for £199

Is this your eBay store you’re desperately shipping? No one is going to buy B grade stock on the off chance they’re actually “nearly new” when they can get actually new with (at least) four years more warranty for £9 more. No guesswork required...

Incidentally, I’d echo previous comments about these being the best in their price range. Fantastic for the money.
Bought these a couple of months back to replace a bulky pair of floorstanding speakers. Brilliant buy for music. Absolute steal at this price.
Could I plug a echo into these to listen to music?

Another echo from me. All of their speakers are absolutely spot on. Amazing value for money and not fussy about where they are placed or what they are placed with.
I understand its not a like for like and connectivity options aside, how would these compare to 2 sonos one speakers or bose equivalents.

As a domestic user will i notice much difference in sound quality, power, etc.

i have a great amp, but getting lazy and am thinking about wireless options as i never really use the amps power.

These are not active speakers! You have to buy an amp and after that connect echo!

D141 or D-M41DAB.....which appears to be £379 with these speakers?
I’ve had both and these knock spots off the Sonos Ones.

No, not twice as good. Marginally better for HiFi listening but as quoted better your probably better going for the standard 3020's for cinema use. Both are excellant speakers.

Nothing to do with being a millennial. It's just a term that's used. You could say a physical store, like such and such. The opposite to Amazon.

Can graded not mean returned as faulty by previous buyer, checked and put back on sale as graded if no problem found. I had a graded TV that made a high pitch wine after 20 minutes , wouldnt risk it again.
I currently have some mission m71i speakers , would these be a worthwhile upgrade as will be buying the Denon 41 soon anyway so could go for the deal for 379, although I was hoping to get some smaller speakers as these are pretty much exactly the same size.

You were able to return it? If so, isn't that the whole point of having a warranty? I took a risk and got a brand new set with a full warranty from the manufacturer. Results may vary, of course.
