It's nearly enough points to get you Silver status on British Airways if you credit the miles to BA. Just need to add in 4 legs on BA metal, eg 4x European singles to & back from somewhere cheap and you should be there or thereabout in terms of required miles.

= free lounge access / free booze & snacks/ free seat selection going forward

Iv added "Sale" to the title.
7/5 return 21/5 2017 comes in at £1800, so the OP's 1360 is probably there somewhere with research.
Great prices anyway. And C Class on Qatar is brilliant.
Voted best business class cabin in the world on skytraks this year. Great experience for a great price!
Excellent find!
isn't the 787-8 the new style Business class and the 777-200lr the old style?

Please correct me if i'm wrong

Thanks

Your VA miles are about to become much more flexible, when Virgin Atlantic Flying Club joins up with Flying Blue (Air France/ KLM) and you can redeem your points on their flights as well, ie in Europe if you wish
Are there any other destinations in the sale?

I didn’t know this, I don’t have many at around 400k and I was going to convert them to Hilton tomorrow. I’ll look into it thanks.

it's not live yet so there's not a lot to research

it's to do with the new ownership structure Virgin-Delta-AirFrance-KLM

no
I flew with them business class from Pisa to Auckland for £1100 in a previous deal. The Doha lounge is amazing - bigger than a football pitch. Even better was that we got rerouted via Cathay who couldn’t provide us with a business class seat and we were given £1200 cash in compensation!
NZ is a lovely country for driving around - quiet roads and lovely scenery. Plus you can easily fly to Sydney or Melbourne.

Yes but just looking at their business class seating, as a family of 4 Virgin UC isn't good, the bar was great when we didn't have kids. BA is better with the middle pairs but would like to use the Virgin miles one day.

looks like you'll soon be able to choose AF/KLM long haul, possibly Delta, using Virgin miles

maybe they'll have more comfortable options
Completely unrelated, but BA is the probably the worst value for money airline today. Terrible.

Heat added.
Got 2 tickets for October. Read about it on Flyertalk.

Believe it or not, the seats are not even heated nor leather.

I'm going to allow this. Sticking with Emirates for long haul..

Cold.

Many thanks

Wish it included one way, I am migrating there soon
Not bad, however I got a great deal with Emirates from Manchester to Auckland stopping of in Dubai and Bangkok Thailand for a week on the way back. £780 RTN.

It’s expensive, expect to downgrade on everything.

You can get a return ticket, but don't necessarily have to fly the return leg.. might save you some cash..

Often one-way tickets alactaully cost more..

Kindest regards

Inc taxes?
I paid £2300 to fly two of us out there in February. 24 hour flight with Emirates (shortest we could find). Cattle class.
This is a scorching deal.

Is it one of those flights with 4 stops where it take 48 hours to get there?
Cannot recommend Qatar airlines enough. Their economy is like business class with wide seats and lots of leg space, great quality food, great service and good choice of entertainment on the TVs. The Doha airport is unreal like a shopping mall

The seating doesn't really suit us for the time being until the kids are older and can sit more alone happily. I might even burn some miles with Virgin PE but BA's couples seats work best at the moment but paying to reserve the seats isn't cheap.
Can anyone find any rates on return dates in late November. Struggling to find anything
Have Qatar Airways flights been unaffected by the blockade?
