Is this definitely compatible with iPhone? I'm reluctant as in Apples iPhone X launch they were big on their new wireless charging port so I didn't think one already existed

Why are people almost wetting their self's about QI charging, my years old nexus 4 had it... Gimmick and unlikely to support any sort of fast changing any time soon, gone are the days we are willing to wait hours and hours for a phone to charge...

All qi chargers are compatible with the iPhone
Maybe it’s because I’m trying to buy a second one, snapped one up earlier

Yes, and your watch
I wouldn't buy a no name qi charger again after one popped my Nexus 5. Luckily the phone was still under warranty. The charger went in the bin. I'm inclined to buy a high powered one even less!

There’s loads of QI chargers on GearBest. Some less than £3, not sure what makes this so special

You can get wireless chargers on eBay for around £6 price point. Not specifically this one but others who are U.K. based. Don’t see the point of waiting so long for one.
i am using a QI charge for my iPhone 5s. Got mine from ebay for just over a fiver with both charging pad and receiver ( not a fast charging pad as above post ) . It works, but not the way i thought it would. Although the charging pad is big, but there is just one tiny spot which you have to line up the receiver very accurately to activate the charging process.

Also my phone case is made with faux leather, it is too thick to for the QI technology, so i had to stick my receiver outside the case to make it work.

Something people may need to think about.

This thread is soo funny crapple pick up a technology that's 10 years plus old and revitalise it to the extent its something it's not...
1. It's old
2. Much of a muchness with chargers as it's a set standard
3. For what it's worth and you are desperate to get one buy a Samsung best of all the same tech and not much more expensive...

Wait so the iPhone 5s is compatible with Qi Chargers (Wireless Charging)?
I thought the iPhone 8 and 10 were the first iPhones to have wireless charging.

No it’s not but it uses a receiver what plugs into the phone sticks to the back of the phone and then charges

According to the description this one should deliver 2A (10W) whilst the cheap one from ebay are most likely 1A (5W).

At the risk of sounding like a pedant, the original Qi standard only mandated power delivery up to 5W. Anything above 5W is considered high powered, or now medium-power since the Qi standards body decided they are going to redefine the upper limit! Unfortunately, I know a little bit about this rather tedious subject as I work for an unnamed electronics company... which begs the question of why I bought a no name Qi charger in the first place!
Whats so good about this
there plenty on ebay for lower than this price and in the UK too
