Can the drives I plugin to it be individually switched off/on?

I've been looking for such a thing where I can locally connect to my PC without the need to use network. This looks perfect for it and then I can slowly acquire hard drives over time!

Can you make it connect wirelessly? As it doesn't have wireless. I just need storage for devices not 10gb speed

Hook it with a Raspberry Pi, setup OMV or basic SMB share, connect to WiFi, and you would have a wireless setup.

So because it uses usb3 I could hook this up to pretty much anything like a raspberry pi?

yes, as long as the OS supports multi drives.

Pi is definitely a yes. I am just thinking if it could work with my router.
