I don't get it. Why not just buy a 1kg bag/box of instant oats for £1.50 and measure out your own portions? Exactly the same thing and waaaay cheaper, plus you get to choose your portion size.

Better to pour in pan and then pour milk on top, boil until it thickens up a little then stick it in a bowl and enjoy! So nice!! amazon and asda had them £2 for 20 but now theyre £3 and £4

You don't need Quaker Oat for that, any oat will do

Handy for people taking it to work and stuff I guess? Plus with the flavoured ones you don’t have to faff around as much. Never bought this myself, but can see the appeal to some people

ditzy: adjective. Flighty and easily confused; mildly or harmlessly eccentric.

dipsy: noun. A teletubby.

What a bargain

Is this in store as well?

Yes picked up a couple of boxes yesterday.

They were by the door in my local Iceland.
Crazy amount of added sugar in the Golden syrup flavour. Asda and Tesco own brands have much less and are always £1 a box of 8
I love the review on the Iceland site "This is really nice. Adding your own sugar/honey just makes it too sweet". Well, yes, that would be the fake golden syrup...

bit misleading comment, as the Quaker has 21.5 g of sugars whereas the Tesco own has 18 g, so not exactly a big difference
Actually there are better deals in Morrisons and Tesco - where you get the Family pack of 22 for £2.00 - works out to be 9p per packet.

Yeah I guess for taking to work it's convenient, for using at home it's lazy and expensive.
Also i'm sure most people eating the Golden syrup version think they're eating healthy. Just mash a ripe banana into your porridge. Delicious and healthy.

It’s for fat people to not get tempted in having massive portions
