Any good

No reflection on the product but it has to be remembered that qualcast is no longer the brand many will remember its name is licensed by Argos / Homebase and used on their own brands made by them. Add to the complexity of the sale and split of Homebase and Argos and no one really knows who will own the licence going forward.
It must be Xmas as Homebase have had some real bargains lately

Voted hot for this one

Nothing worse than an over pierced lawn mower.

Looks to be plenty of stock around Leeds and Wakefield for the 125cc Self Propelled

Is this better than the £50 Sovereign version available in Homebase?

Edit, this is 125cc, Sov is 150cc.

Release the geese!

Bodmin has 18 of the sovereign mowers @£50 and 32 of the led lights at £10

No geese in sight
I bought one of these a couple of years ago and still going strong. Collections bag is a bit flimsy, but the engine is bomb proof and £50 is a steal. Heat added.

Better than an over pierced condom.
It's a good price but, if you can afford it you're better going for a self-propelled. I would reason it's too big and heavy for a small lawn (use an electric mower) and it's not big enough for a larger lawn, plus you'll soon get tired of pushing it about. I've got the bigger version of this, which is self-propelled, and was £100 in sale 2 years ago. The B&S engine is very good. Its not a Honda, but for £100 I've been well satisfied.

Is it not a little early to be hitting the booze?
OOS near me but a good deal if you can track one down.

A rule of thumb given to me by a lawnmower salesman was that if it's got a Briggs & Stratton engine and it breaks down they can get parts for it, if it's got an anonymous Chinese engine then trying to source parts is more trouble than it's worth. Go for it.
Thanks they have 2 of the 3 mowers in 2 of my local stores. going to grab the £75 one i think

Combination of holding the dog lead with cold hands, trying to type in app,

I’ve just purchased the £75 one! The good thing about the Qualcast over Sovereign is the engine and 2 year guarantee

I have the self propelled and it's great. Have some heat for the bargain!
Great find OP! Just picked up one from Leicester store, apparently 3 more in stock. Well happy!
Bought the £75 self propelled, I couldn't see any of the £50 qualcast at Homebase in Oldbury, They had about 7 boxes of the self propelled left.
Plenty of the sovereign £50 model left.

Thanks, great find wanted one for ages.

Convinced my Mom it's for my birthday for next year. 5 months away. I don't know how I managed it. Just hope she forgets by that time.
I might try an early Christmas present then.

Got mine for £42.50 with the 15% off code they're dishing out at the moment. Great price especially for a Briggs & Stratton engine! Top notch. Merry Christmas to me!
