Bought this at this price from Homebase over Easter holidays. A good lawnmower for the money.
Bought this end of last season for a similar price to replace an ancient sovereign push petrol mower well built and like the self propelled feature but does not start as well as the old mower
Does this have a Briggs and Stratton engine?
Never mind lol I visited the site it'll does thanks op

I have a 190cc B & S motor. Starts first time every time and low emissions etc. As good as my Honda based machine. They ship over 10 million units per year globally. They guarantee the start within 2 pulls for 2 years from new. Howzat!
Homebase / Argos have a licence to use the Qualcast name on their products. Not sure if this is made by Qualcast - they do make petrol mowers - or a badged product like their electric models. Still if it does the job and is reliable.
Qualcast is a Homebase/Argos brand. Qualcast are no longer in operation as a stand alone lawnmower producer.

There are a few select models qualcast make everything else is own brand. The mowers from own brand are technically the same in construction the motors are what set them apart. Just stay away from those Chinese made motors the parts are hard to come by!
Just picking one up for my father's birthday. I have a qualcast self propelled, paid £200 as had £50 off last year and love it. Whips around the garden in no time. Mine has a roller at the back so this one seems reasonably priced compared to mine and other even non-self propelled versions out there.
