Seems like a great price for a battery powered lawnmower. I'm not sure who owns the Qualcast brand now - it used to be Bosch but I suspect it is no longer the case.
"Qualcast signed an 8-year agreement with Argos and Homebase to lease out
their name, allowed the two stores to use the Qualcast name on their
own-brand products."

Thank You that's useful information.
36v though is very very nice indeed for that money. I want the black and decker equivalent because it matches the other garden stuff, but that is £300 for a 36v.
We bought this lawnmower a few months ago and it's great. Good power and cut, relatively lightweight and battery lasts well. so much easier (and safer) not having a cable trailing after you - esp when you already have a 4 year old trailing after you with his toy mower!
Bought this from HB when my Rotak 34 Li-on died after many years loyal service. Nice to use however if you're picky about your lawn you won't be impressed as it leaves an untidy finish. Battery didn't hold it's charge either so took it back.

Excellent mower! Easy to use.
There none around Brighton. I would have bought it otherwise

What do you mean by an untidy finish? It doesnt cut well? Does it have a roller?

Think "bad haircut" just messy and too long. Not sure if it has a roller, it probably does but I was still disappointed with the results.

So the lowest cut level is too long? It states 20mm-70mm, you cant really go below 20mm with rotary blades, you need a cylinder mower for that. The Bosch mowers have a lowest cut of 25mm.

It says 20mm but it doesn't cut that low believe me. I ended up getting a cheap Challenge mower for £50 from Argos on a friends recommendation and it cuts far better on the lowest setting
Excellent price. Voted hot. I was debating buying a cordless mower, and I ended up buying a good quality push along cylinder mower for about this price. I'm totally happy with it. It's easy to push, cuts the grass really well and should last years.

Which one did you get?
Great price, I have the 24v version but would never go back to a corded one.

I bought a Brill RazorCut Premium 38. The grass is looking much better than it did when it was cut with a hover mower, and it takes less time.
The battery should last a full cut on most lawn.
