Just got one of these and it really is a splendid little sprinkler that is very adjustable and doing a perfect job watering my medium size orchard garden.
The kids are having a gay old time in this rare weather.
It's nearly half price for those who want to utilise a. our countries abundant water sources b. avoiding lawn die off c. getting more/bigger fruits and if you're as lucky as myself 4. your non metered water supply.

You've made my day! Had one of these for a couple of years, but managed to tread on it and snap it while mowing the lawn a month ago.....no branding or anything on it so had no idea where to find one, and it's the only sprinkler I've found that can do just our small lawn...thanks!

ahh, pleased I have helped.
I suppose it could be broken fairly easily but I buried the spike as deep as it would go in the middle of the lawn.Seems less likely to break with the hose hugging the floor.

Saw the praise and longevity info and just got one. The nozzle types were a let down with only one useful for me. Immediately got into garden with this and mounted it about 1m above the ground in a galvanised metal tube sitting inside an old axle sand made of thick metal plate giving me a very stable portable platform. Held the hosepipe in place on the galvanised tube with one of the twist ties (very useful things) form the pound stores. When placed, aligned and utilised this has given me one of the best sprinklers I've ever used (tho generally I don't water and let the plants fend for themselves but with almost a week more of this weather I had to act).

This morning I was totally fed up with a standard impulse sprinkler that took ages to get any decent coverage and continue to do so without stalling. This thing is the biz. Ta OP.

Just one question thought. There is no mention about making alterations while the geared mechanism is active. Mark since your's seems to have still been functioning in this regard did you stop the water feed when making alterations to the nozzle spray pattern / nozzle angle and both require a force that may temporarily overcome the geared movement and stressing some internal part.

Do these only soak the perimiter of the circle or do the do the whole area from perimiter to the spike hose?

it has a variable tilt for the angle of the sprayer but what you ask then depends on the distance of the perimeter and likely spray pattern you are using and the height of the sprayer.

or put it this way the packaging on mine was plastic bag with item on piece of card held with zip tie. you have a spare zip tie you could put it back 'good as new' and you changed your mind/got a different one etc. (_;)
