Coleman quality at this price doesn't come around too often... bonkers particularly at start summer with holidays, travel, outings, festivals etc on the cards. Free delivery on £8 spend (prior VAT). CPC has soo many bargains on offer right now that it is difficult to restrain yourself from blowing 50 quid never mind making up the £8.(I even got several Citronella candles (10 pack) @ £1.50 for upcoming outdoor trip). See also my posts re Cooler Bag bargains at CPC. See here and particularly their section on "Home, Leisure & Motoring" :cpc.farnell.com/bar…ner
For those interested: further 10% for students; similarly new sign ups and apparently even more if you refer a friend...

  • Ten seat covers per package
  • Fits into purses, backpacks or pockets
  • Very economical @ 4.4 pence per pop!

Stock Update: Just to fill you guys in... due to explosive sales pressure there has been a run on these bargain seat covers, resulting in the bottom falling out of the normally high stock levels. Currently you can place a back order as they are soon expecting relieving their stock outage. Hopefully you can hold out till later this week...

Are you suggesting not going anywhere? I can totally vouch for (the idea of) these, given the state that public people leave toilets in.
Having said that, the last thing I would want is one more thing to slug around on every day out / holiday.

Guys, just a heads up re FREE DELIVERY. If you splash out the grand sum of £8 (prior VAT) you will have free delivery, THATS THE WHOLE POINT... lost on some - boy o boy
More trash in the environment.

Toilet seats dont transmit infections. Yes they are covered in bacteria but so are a great many things. In fact there is a very strong chance that your phone is (much) less hygienic than a public toilet seat.

I can understand the mental reassurance that something like this gives since it is a physical barrier between you and something you perceive as dirty, however in practice that is all it is doing for you.

The moment you flush that toilet, bacteria is thrown all around the room. And it was thrown all around the room by every flush that happened before you went in there.

Don't take my word for it. Do your own research: transmission of STDs and the like via toilet seats is and was a genuine concern so the studies have been done. There has also been research into the amount of bacteria that covers everyday objects and the toilet seat is not the worst by far.

Wash your hands with soap and water and stop worrying about toilet seats. Or squat.

Dodgy knee so no squating for mee. Point taken about filth and disease being prevalent everywhere though... read up about the research into smears taken on public transport. Do you think public toilets would be any better then?? However, on public transport you HAVE to press the bell / button or cling to the handrail at times.
Challenge: Would you rather kiss a toilet seat or a bus bell button if forced. I would kiss the disposable toilet cover any day! Plus, paper is 100% bio degradable in sewerage systems... so sleep tight and stay healthy. PS Todays breaking news today 11 May (no joke).. NEW OUTBREAK OF IBOLA in Central African Republic. They have 6 flights a day into UK. Use the airline toilet if you can hold out at the airport, else as you suggest... squat - but high!

The disposable toilet cover wasn't an option though? It was either the bus bell or the toilet seat, no mention of a cover.

Also - "kiss a bell" could be interpreted in different ways
I am sure everything you said is true.... But I am not sitting in anyone else's muck when I can see it even if you paid me.
