Just purchased this lock to use for my bike from the DIY section, it is a category 4.
At this price it beats any lock on sale in the cycling section

I reckon I could quite easily break it...
Use it to lock the freezer and this might take a little longer to go cold.
no way a proper category 4. 10 second snip job
Most insurers demand a lock with at least Sold Secure Bronze rating for a cheap (up to £250) bike, and Sold Secure Silver for anything more expensive.
It's likely your insurance won't pay out if you're relying on this as anything other than a deterrent for a casual thief.
A good hard yank, or twisting the bike frame round and round is usually enough to bust a cable lock

Or a pocket sized pair of cable cutters.

Sorry but a hamster could chew through this in seconds.

4 is the number of seconds it takes for a thief to cut through this using nothing more than a dirty look.
this doesnt look very good quality at all. is the 4 seconds or milliseconds?
£1 in the pound shop
