This is a good price and also a bit of nostalgia and a trip down memory lane!

1.2kg in a tin, not some plastic tub

I bought a couple of these last year - still have some left. No pleasure involved in eating these anymore, they are just a sugar hit, no real substance to any of them unfortunately.
I may try M&S this year, I recall someone brought a tin of them into work and they were much nicer (and they had coffee creams yum yum).
Roses and Quality Street (like most other things I suppose) are now made to a price as opposed to a standard and thus have been bastardized beyound any semblance of their former glorius selves.

this is so true..wish they would bring back the old varieties

Just about ALL my UK favorites have been radically doctored for cheapness..... sugar and palm fat are cheap
Big profits above quality to be stashed offshore........I now just give them ALL a miss.... you can keep em

Don’t buy these sugary crappy crocs any more, far prefer to pay the extra at Hotel Chocolat, and not throw any away.
