Great price! Hot!

What? Do you mean they've been lying to us all this time saying they are reduced from £10 to £5?

For anyone that wants a MyWaitrose Card:

waitrose.com/sho…ose

They will post it to you.

You can also pick up a temporary card leaflet in store. Voted hot I only want one tin not the two on offer at morrisons so saves me some money.

If you managed to get a couple of tubs at morrissons on the 2 for £7 offer then well done. Couldn't get it anywhere and the local store I'm sure never bothered re-stacking the shelves and just let it serve as a marketing ploy to get people in, which it is.

Good price. Hot.

Using "My Waitrose" card can also get a free cup of tea/coffee (no purchase necessary)

And if you spend £5 in effect you get a free paper (daily mail, telegraph, Sunday times, Guardian and Observer daily and sun editions).

With a response like that, is it any wonder you failed the sign-up criteria? Not to mention Kapa (sic) in the name, soooo Tesco.

they sell 1.2kg tins in Sainsburys, Tesco and Waitrose. at ~£8 - £9 a pop though

yep the 1.2kg tins are classed as "Family" tins .. so the 800gm tins must not be for sharing.. 800gm tins of sweets and lonliness is a dangerous mix

Does the £5 spend include the price of the newspaper?

I wonder what the ratio is of people who live close to a Waitrose against those who don't. About 100000000000:1 I bet.

I think you got that about right 120%!!!

Handy for on Saturday and Sunday with a free newspaper

Which is only good if you like papers aligned to the current coalition government.

im only 30s walk away from my local Waitrose :), its a bit of a shame though having to put up with these common folk flocking to my local branch for these cheap deals.. put up the prices i say!

All gone in the waitrose in Ipswich this afternoon. They're hoping to get more tomorrow! You would think if they're emailing everyone and advertising it on the front of their paper they'd have enough stock to last more than two days!
Never mind, had a cup of free coffee with my dad in the cafe which I don't get to do very often.
